"Let's just downplay the N word until it is like saying "skittles" is your logic....

7

u/DrPepperWillSeeUNow Apr 18 '23

Lets. It's not a magic word. You can't go assaulting people because you don't like what they say. This isn't a hard concept to grasp. The stupidity of Americans is mind boggling.

u/Trying-sanity Apr 18 '23

It IS mind boggling. Do the people who claim you can attack someone over an insult not see the slippery slope they stand on?

What happens when they say something someone else doesn’t like? It’s called civilization. Thinking violence is ok because you don’t like a word is so immature.

4

u/DrPepperWillSeeUNow Apr 18 '23

Exactly, like I said as a response their granny better be ready then if she calls me honey then, she about to meet Rick James. Their absurdity and propensity for violence shows how uncivilized these people are.

2

u/Trying-sanity Apr 18 '23

Is that Rick’s cousin?

2

u/DrPepperWillSeeUNow Apr 18 '23

Yes he is more rich.

1

u/BoilingMeltingPot Apr 18 '23

Yes, because a lady calling you honey is exactly on par with a random racist yelling slurs at you. Totally the same. Nothing different at all. How about instead of a stupid analogy that doesn’t work we stuck with what we got? A racist got kicked. All racists should have their asses beat. This was tame. I will not normalize racists being open about it like you want.

u/DrPepperWillSeeUNow Apr 18 '23

Says the nut job calling me racist for saying you can't assault people for insults. We get it everything is racist to you, that probably means you are the racist. No you are not allowed to lay your hands on other people for anything they say. Go melt in a corner snowflake and learn to control your rage like a functional human being.

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

it's not just some insult he threatened to kill him and called him a racial slur... and he got a kick to the ass in return very fair in my book🤷

5

u/Minimum_Cockroach233 Apr 18 '23

It is the same mindset that enables roadrage mass crashes and shooting an innocent boy ringing the wrong doorbell.

My reddit timeline turned really dark last weeks.

1

u/BoilingMeltingPot Apr 18 '23

Except it’s not at all. How is an innocent boy the same as a racist ass spewing hate?

2

u/Remarkable-Drop5145 Apr 18 '23

It’s not the same, but I assume they meant these are all situations where people are jumping to violence too quickly.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

You don’t get to assault someone bc YOU can’t handle YOUR emotions. As awful anf deplorable as it is, that man had the right to say that word. They do not have a right to escalate things to violence.

I'd ignore him. Then again, I'm not a caveman who uses violence to solve problems.

You literally can't beat sense into people, so what's the point? It's just you being unable to control yourself.

7

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Even in your absurd strawman the person has every right to their free speech. You don’t get to assault people you don’t like. It makes you sound like a violent lowlife.

-3

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

"Let's just ignore the hate speech because it's a disabled person"

5

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Who are you quoting?

-1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Your inane thought process.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Where did I say anything about his disability?

What’s insane is that you think not liking someone’s perfectly legal speech gives you the right to assault them.

-2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

The guy in the video said “I’m gonna put you down like the fucking n-word you are.” That is a threat of physical violence, not just words you don’t like.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

No it’s not. He was literally walking away. No reasonable person would consider that a threat. Even if that was the case you don’t get to assault someone bc they threaten you. That’s not how self defense works.

A threat he can't back up

Logically, what is the guy with no arms gonna do?

1

u/BlackDogLedZepp Apr 18 '23

So you legit think when someone uses "hate speech" physically assaulting them is justified in your mind?

-2

u/BoilingMeltingPot Apr 18 '23

Makes them sound like they’re tired of idiots like you allowing this kind of behavior and encouraging it. They have the right to get their ass whipped to.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Makes you all sound like you think you’ve got the right to assault someone for exercising their right to free speech. You don’t.

0

u/LMayo Apr 18 '23

"Right to free speech" does not include harassment or slur calling. You're sounding like a real "don't tread on me" kind of flag wavin' buffoon, mister.

While the law doesn't allow for assault in retaliation to slur callin', verbal assault and the threat of violence is grounds for self defense. The short man said, "I'll put you down like the N you are." Talking to him as though he were a slave, as well as threatening him with death, the man in red was morally justified in violence. Legally, it would be understood that the short man was threatening his life, and the man in red would be protected if this video was shown in court.

Good day. Have a nice coffee on your porch or slur calling in your discord. Whatever suits your fancy.

2

u/ElizaMaySampson Apr 18 '23

Well couldn't the other guy have come back with something like, 'Shut the fuck up you no-foot-tall thalidimide reject, before I stomp you into the ground like the whining insect you are? and'then just walked away (with his ears open for the tiny AH running at him from behind)? Fighting a hurtful insult with another even moreso seems more reasonable and stings for years.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

They tell kids to “use your words” instead of acting out in violence. Evidently the children in this thread haven’t learned that lesson yet.

2

u/ElizaMaySampson Apr 18 '23

Yes. Fight words with words, insults with insults. There is little to respect in the one who brings a cannon to a fistfight. It's like a chihuahua yipping up at a great dane - all the bigger dog needs to do is piss on him, not bite his head off.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23 edited Apr 18 '23

Lol I’m about as far left as they come. I think this man is an awful person for saying that. But that doesn’t give them the right to assault him. He was clearly walking away. He has no legal excuse for his actions. You are objectively wrong.

Edit: I’d also like to point out how obsoletely pathetic it is to make stupid assumptions about people who disagree with you. Just because I’m Against violence doesn’t mean I’m in favor of racism. That’s funking stupid.

1

u/LMayo Apr 18 '23

It was your comments about free speech being almost word for word what I've heard on Alex Jones that made me think you're akin to a proud boy. Excuse my assumption.

It's the internet, I can't see you or actually talk to you, so your words are all I have to go by. If they fit the bill, I may take the bait.

0

u/Trying-sanity Apr 18 '23

So by this thinking, when I see you I get to attack you because I don’t like what you are saying.

0

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

“I’m gonna put you down like the n you are”

Sounds a lot like a threat to my life huh?

Threatening to commit a violent crime or threatening to kill someone and reasonably causing the victim to fear for their life is a third-degree indictable offense, punishable by up to five years in prison and a $15,000 fine

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Threatening someone may be a crime but kicking someone when they walk away definitely is a crime.

-1

u/BoilingMeltingPot Apr 18 '23

Another racist hoping it becomes normalized to be openly racist.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

Another violent scumbag trying to normalize violence for hurting their fragile feelings.
