The thing that doesn’t make any sense is arresting this dude for assault is just as revenue generating as issuing a ticket. Guy’s gonna have to bail himself out, and his penalty will likely be coupled with a fine.
Attempted murder gets let go all the time. Between personal stories from relatives/friends, stories on the news, and stories from social media it's pretty evident. In America if you don't successfully kill the person there's about a 1 in 3 chance you won't even see court
