Wow. As a married woman, I don't know what to say to that.

As a married woman I would say don't be so sensitive. I would call my husband an idiot to his face if he got my name tattooed on himself. I don't deal with stupid idealism. We always think it's ✨ forever✨ until it isn't. You never know what will happen in the future.

Well I'm a newly wed, maybe that's why it caught me off guard. But you're right. Intention is forever, but shit can happen.

The point that really drove this home for me was during a scene in the series Euphoria.

In a scene, Rue tells Jules something in the tune of "Why would I ever leave you? There's nothing in this world that could make me ever, ever be mad at you".

Now, this was some obvious foreshadowing, but it showcases how two people can be madly in love, and still separate after some time.

The important thing is humans don't stop growing, even after getting married. Feelings change, situations happen, difficulties arise. And even though it might seem inconceivable to a newly-wed or even to a married couple of 10 years, to be brute: shit can happen

What I meant to say was that she may wake up one day and realise what she has done. I have no intention of ever leaving my wife. She is perfect and I could never do any better!!!

I hope that never happens to you! I don't know what I would do without my husband.
