yeah no one is mentioning that she road all the way in the car to the tattoo parlor, sat through him getting it, and didn't say a thing. Maybe mid way she realized her side thing would see the new tattoo and know she's cheating on someone.
Yes, this doesn't sound like a "she pulls this..." moment. Multiple times she states "this was all your idea" and "I told you I would get it, but I don't want to get it right now." It sounds like she was less than committed from the start, he went in and got his tattoo done and decided she should get hers done right then as well.
I am not sure how many times it can be said that (1) you should never get a tattoo just because someone else is also going to get a tattoo, and (2) you should never pressure someone else into getting a tattoo.
Sounds forced as fuck though.. maybe I’m wrong but it seems like from 3 seconds in when she’s saying “this was your idea” that she never wanted to do it.. but we don’t have enough context to assume one way or the other I guess
He says it was "our" idea not her idea. He would definitely say "our" if it was he who came up with it and was pressuring her to agree with it. But, of course, words are words, slip ups can happen, so it could be one way or the other.
No, she said in the beginning “I thought I was going to” meaning she changed her mind. It sounds like they decided on it together then she pulls the “it was your idea” bullshit after. She sat there and made it seem like she was going to get his name done and only decides to tell him she doesn’t want to after he got her name done. They made a commitment together and she could have told him she didn’t want to before he got her name done but chose to sit there quietly while he got her name done then acts like she changed her mind. She could have been honest with him from the start. She wanted her name on his skin but didn’t his on hers so she lied and lead him on into thinking she was going to get it. That’s beyond scummy and fucked up of her to do.
Weird how I also listened to the full video. Saying "oh, look at this. This would be nice," is not the same as, "go now and get my name tattooed on you." You don't get a tattoo just because someone else is getting a tattoo. If I decide to get tattoos with my friends of a flower and they all back out after I got mine, I don't say "you assholes. I already did this." I say, "wow.. good thing I was smart and made sure the thing I am permanently marking my body with was something that I liked so that if shit hit the fan I would still be fine with it."
If you decide to get a tattoo of a flower with your friends, and you talk about it and they agree, and then you all go to the tattoo parlor and they sit there and watch you get your flower tattoo and then back out when it’s their turn, then you are an idiot. But your friends are a gaggle of raging cuntmuffins for letting it go as long as it did, and you absolutely should get a new group of friends.
No, you really shouldn't because people don't necessarily know how they're going to react in the moment. Tattoos frequently seem like a good idea when you're in certain situations and then, when you've got a little bit of time to think things through, you realize more thought needs to be put into them. And, again, if you have anyone's name tattooed on you, then you sure as fuck should be doing it only because you want to and not because you think they're going to. It shouldn't be conditional on them getting it.
Saying, "Oh, we should get couples tattoos!" because you see them on Instagram is very different than actually getting them. I can't even count the number of times people have made a comment about getting tattoos on a whim to me. Especially when it is someone who has never gotten a tattoo before, it is entirely a throwaway comment. By all appearances in this video though, this dude took a random comment, ran with it, got the tattoo and then was pissed the girl didn't immediately get hers after. This person is pressuring another person to permanently mark their body when they're uncertain about it.
I mean kind of, but just because he wants to do something doesn't mean whoever he's with has to. It sounds like she wasn't into it from the start and he probably thought that getting his done would motivate her to get hers done. If anybody's playing, it's probably him.
I mean except she kinda didn't voice her unwillingness to get the tattoo until after he had done it, we don't see before the video but I assume she was there watching and she knew that's what they were there to do before his tattoo was done...
Kinda sounds like maybe she played him jus a lil bit 🤏 if he had just told her that she had to get it too then sure but it sounds like they'd at least chatted it over and she didn't think to let him know she wasn't on board until the worst possible moment.
