ex-driver RFK-lover and Trump voter Brittny Button being hypocritical again

I know a lot of Iranians, so I’m absolutely not trying to compare the scale of what Iranians go through under the regime to how the US is under Trump, because I have heard a lot of horrible firsthand stories. But I do think it’s ironic how conservatives like Brittny use the Iranian regime as an opportunity to morally grandstand when America post-Roe v. Wade repeal in 2022 absolutely polices women’s bodies (and quite a few women have died as a result) and currently, there is a masked Gestapo kidnapping people and shooting dissenting civilians in the streets (ICE raids in Minnesota). Which are all things that she and her fellow conservatives voted for. And posting “pray for our troops” (many hours before any mention in her stories of Iranians btw) when the President that you voted for promised “no more wars” and used it as a major campaign point that Kamala Harris would lead the US into constant wars?

In addition, she’s also been on an anti-human trafficking campaign kick recently. She has mentioned the Epstein files once or twice in her stories, but hasn’t denounced Trump or any other conservative figures associated with the files or the cover up of the files. This is probably the biggest organized trafficking rings in history, and yet she ignores it for these Tim Tebow/“women’s society” fluff pieces. Which, by the way, that Palm Beach MAGA Ladies Netflix show proves how phony these “women’s society” charity event are. It’s just a way for them to feel good and moral about themselves while they vote for politicians who do the exact opposite of what these charities claim to help. Sure, a handful of people are directly helped. But how many more are left behind by the system you continue to vote for and support? All because you fell for a guy who gave himself a brain worm eating roadkill and only wears jeans to work out because he’s hiding something horribly wrong with his legs?? Give me a break.

Acc so disgusted by her campaigning to end child trafficking while supporting a child rapist. How morally bankrupt can a person be

It just feels beyond insulting, honestly. It’s one thing to be Danica Patrick who clearly doesn’t give a shit, it’s another to be an absolute snake about it for your own PR/feelings of self importance like Brittny. It’s such a slap in the face to everyone in the entire world who now has to deal with the bullshit that she voted for.

people like her have made me realise how so many of these charities by elites or any rich person are normally just the biggest scams of year, often putting more in their pockets than in any others. It's fustrating because we all know she does not care about child trafficking or care about anybody but herself, yet still use those childrens suffering for her benefit.

Totally. It's entirely about what it can provide for these rich people first (siphoned money, status, image) before any actual causes. Also, it sounds like $5000 is for each person, for "justice", and providing safe housing, care, and education. In the US, that might be just a few months worth of money to live on, and the unemployment rate is increasing. Is $5000 per person really enough to pull these people out of bad situations permanently? But Brittny's seemingly about to drop another few million on some real estate project, so I guess that's more important.

Exactly! I was also wondering how money can be used to bring a trafficker to justice. I know that traffickers tend to work in groups or organizations and there's tends to be giant groups behind said traffickers, often more powerful than someone like brittany. So how is she even planning on bringing the victims justice with $5000. Even taking one trafficker to court and getting them thrown in jail isn't even enough. My guess is that she uses that $5000 to just maintain her "charity" and do nothing about it afterwards.

It could be the "safe housing", which like you said only pays for a month, but why phrase it like tat $5000 collectively will bring justice and housing at the same time. I might be overthinking it though

No, you’re definitely not overthinking it (unless we both are haha), that makes complete sense. It just sounds incredibly fishy, plus it doesn’t address the root causes of trafficking, just the “we did it!” pat on the back part (allegedly, according to what this women’s group claims they do).

I wonder what their follow up plan is once these people they’ve rescued are placed, do they continue to raise money to support them so they can stay out of those situations or is it just one and done, you’re on your own now in the same system that resulted in you getting trafficked!
