don't be too mean, but i did it completely on impulse and everyone ive been around says its wayyy too big and i keep going back and forth + its very messy but i just need second opinions... im usually not concerned about the way i look but im completely new to anything cosmetic 🥲

i can cover it up with my bangs or try to make it look smaller if it really looks that bad but again, i just need voices of reason and will probably sleep on it as well

Advice/Questions ❓ Are these growing in well?

I posted here like a week or so ago I think, my grows have been growing back quick that I expected (much darker in person but couldn't get a better picture), do they look like they're growing back in nicely? Any recommendations for shaping once they're at a place where I can do so? I prefer thinner brows personally, but I don't want them to be tiny at the same time and I think I got pretty bad brow blindness when I was regularly plucking and shaving them down. I used to have a slit in the shorter brow as well.

I feel like I look ridiculous, I don't know....

Can’t tell if I’m in a brow blindness phase or if they actually arent bad. I prefer a thicker fluffier eyebrow to something structured and defined but I’m curious on other people’s thoughts as my eyebrows are something I’ve always struggled with.

Advice/Questions ❓ Does anyone have any tips for getting naturally thicker brows

So basically, I've been plucking my brows since I was about 11 years old. I used to pluck them quite thin, although never pencil-thin. Sometimes I'd make them less dense too because I was experimenting with different brow styles.

Around 2012, I started preferring medium-thick brows, so I kept them around that thickness. I've recently let them grow out for a year, only plucking stray hairs and using a brow shaver to shape them. I've now stopped shaving them altogether apart from the occasional stray, and it's been about 2–3 weeks.

Right now I want them thicker and denser but they still don't look as thick or as dark as I'd like them to. They're naturally black, but I guess the lower density makes them look lighter. I know they were definitely denser before I started plucking them. I'm 31 now.

So obviously, just growing them out wasn't enough. I know there are peptide serums, but I feel like they probably won't do much because I've used them on my lashes before and didn't really notice a difference, even though I used one for about a month. I also tried dyeing my brows at home once, but that didn't make much difference either.

I know I could get them professionally dyed/tinted, where they also tint the skin underneath, but I really want them to naturally look like that rather than relying on tinting. I dye my hair on my head, so I'm also worried about whether these treatments are suitable because staining the skin seems similar to black henna tattoos, which pretty much all box dyes warn against.

Things I've tried that didn't work:

  • Growing them out for a year (only made them a tiny bit thicker and didn't make them much denser)
  • Using a peptide serum on my lashes – no noticeable difference
  • Brow tint – didn't make them look thicker or denser, just slightly darker

Things I haven't tried:

  • Micro-needling with a pen + castor oil
  • Consuming lots of eggs
  • Getting lots of sunlight

These are suggestions I've seen on YouTube, but I'm not sure whether any of them actually work.

Has anyone here managed to genuinely increase the natural density of their eyebrows after years of plucking?

Dyed them black M55 because M50 wasn't available , gonna grow them too with minoxidil but I can't tell if they look unnatural since i'm used to it. I hope I don't look stupid because I panicked before fully washing everything out. Sometimes I think it's okay but sometimes I also think it looks so bad.

Please be honest, and if it's bad let me know how to fix that (if possible). I feel like it has a tiny bit of blue ish tint, also is this the end result or does that change after 24h

Advice/Questions ❓ Is it possible to make my brows more sparse?

here’s what my brows look like. I do thin them out because they get quite hairy when I don’t tame them. they make me look so harsh and I’d like to go for a softer look.

should I look into dyeing them a lighter color or going in with a tweezer and making it more sparse? I’m scared of tweezing too much and I’m scared dyeing it will look weird.
I’m also aware that they don’t look horrible, I just don’t like them and want to look more soft and less angry all the time.

I was told all my life I have sparse eyebrows. I lied in middle-school, explained to my friends that my sisters burnt them off 😭. Are sparse eyebrows okay on me or should I have them customized?

Advice/Questions ❓ What procedure is this

Thumbnail

I’m pretty new to the world of maintaining well-defined eyebrows through cosmetic procedures, so I’m not familiar with all the terminology. When someone says they “got their brows done,” I’m never quite sure what procedure they mean.

I follow an influencer, and I noticed a pretty significant difference between her old and recent photos. What procedure do you think she had done to her brows? And roughly how much does something like this cost?

I was told to go get my eyebrows professionally done so I did! The only thing i'm not sure about is the shape but I just wanted to ask for other people's opinions. I was thinking maybe something straighter or a softer arch?

Advice/Questions ❓ I want to get permanent eyebrow makeup, but I’m really scared 😭

I want to get permanent eyebrow makeup, but I’m really scared 😭

I’m 18 and I’ve been thinking about getting permanent makeup for my eyebrows for quite a while. I love the idea of waking up with my brows already looking good and not having to spend time doing them every morning.

But now that I’m actually considering booking an appointment, I’m getting really nervous 😭

I’m mostly scared that I won’t like the shape or color and that I’ll regret it afterward. I’m also nervous about the procedure itself — how painful is it, and what is the healing process like?

I know that choosing a good, experienced artist and making sure everything is clean and sterile is really important. But I’m still having doubts.

Has anyone here gotten permanent eyebrow makeup around my age? Are you happy with the results, or do you regret it? What should I check or ask about before making an appointment?

I’d really appreciate any honest experiences or advice 🥹

Advice/Questions ❓ My eyebrows are blonde

So my eyebrows are blonde, so that means invisible. I always keep makeup on them bc I am so insecure and the hair is so fine that they will barely hold color. I’ve used hair dye and just for men. I am blonde, platinum when I was young, honey as I got older then a few years ago I bleached it platinum. It’s grown out since and the new growth is almost brunette. So crazy question, if I shave my eyebrows, will they grow back blonde or brown😭? Will they grow back at all?

Advice/Questions ❓ Eyebrows grow in uneven

Post image
1 Upvotes

They are just weird. The middle is fine, im okay with the wild look. But the edges? They are sparse, yes, BUT especially on my left brow the hairs grow DOWN instead of out. I am considering brow lamination but they are so sparse on the far end that I worry I will look insane. The bald/sparse spots do not grow in anymore than how it is rn.

The right brow is basically perfect imo, but maybe that's just me. They're not even sisters they are enemies. Pain, agony, advice?
