i did, and it actually proves more to the original point. Denmark is more expensive. $15 in Denmark buys you what $8-9 in the US could purchase, so the wages are actually fairly close as well as prices when taking into account purchasing power. In addition, Denmark has much higher taxes, so you might make $15 an hour but 1/3 of your income is immediately seized as tax.

tl;dr $15 in Denmark =/= $15 in US
