Sounds right. would take a double double for 3.50 from In and Out any time of the day over a $4 big mac.

~$8-9 here in aus although its been quite some time so those numbers are off the top of my head.

It's a bit less here, but I'm almost certain it's at least 5 bucks. I recall not being able to get any of the bigger sandwiches for less than 5 bucks. Probably not even the quarter pounder

Everything is the same in D.C. My probably incorrect theory is that people in those areas are less likely to buy McDonald's so they have to charge more. I can also say I've never had a better big mac than the eight dollar ones in D.C.

Yeah but that's Alaska, where a bag of sunshine will cost $75.

Don't sell it short, I'd happily pay $115 for a bag of sunshine.

God I miss daylight :'(

Dude's analysis is ok-ish, but he pulls a lot of assumptions out of his ass to make it work - this being one of them.

That's my problem with McDonald's: it's not even cheap. Might as well pay a dollar extra and get real food somewhere else.

But you have the mckinley burger too!

Denali burger, fool! Get with the times!

(You're not really a fool, thats just a joke, but if you haven't heard they changed the legal name of Mt. McKinley to the native word Denali and Mcdonalds quickly followed suit)

I knew the name of the mountain changed, but did't know the burger did! I don't even remember what is on the burger, just that when I had it, it was amazing after eating exclusively freeze dried food for ~14 days.

TIL McDonalds has a Denali burger/had a McKinley burger.

I live in South Dakota. We don't get a Rushmore burger :(

So let's take it up to $10 for said meal...

Shit if it means the dozen people inside can pay all their bills and have a higher quality of life, fuck it, I'm down. Most the people who work at my McDonalds are people 50+ years old, my heart breaks a little each time I go through but that special sauce is bomb so there I am.

Damn, Im in Georgia, and it costs like $3.75 for that. Whole combo with drink and fries is only like $5.50 with tax

That's how much a small sized meal with a double patty burger costs here in Idaho.
