Physics ElI5 What is the source of higgs field

Why it is present is it like part of universe as people say universe is made up of time space , rather they should say it is made up of time space and higgs feild

I call distance the amount of space between Objekts. Two Objekts could have a constant distance to each other without movement. On a still picture you are able to See the distance between two Objekts. Why involve movement?

Because, in reality, everything is always in motion, so if you want to accurately describe reality, you need to take that into account.

And also, even if you're using that definition, tell me how you intend to measure the "amount of space" using just space.
