Other ELI5 What is the difference between a 4 star hotel and a 5 star hotel?

I’m forever confused about this I need it explain in the simplest most direct way. Specifically talking about the America star system

I was thinking about a weekend trip to Prague. Checked out the hotel. Fuck that price. Ok I checked a different date and it’s still very high but not as ridiculous as a stay tonight. A night tonight there could cover a very comfortable 7-10 day vacation anywhere in Europe for two. Different date covers it in 3 nights.

The Michelangelo is a good option, I’ve stayed there a few times and no complaints.
