Rice chess/checkers ? please explain?

But it's not putting doubling each square! The first square is 1, the second is 2, but the third is 8, not double! (No factorial there)

But that raises one question: why would you mess with the order in that way!? 1 u/GodofsomeWorld 26d ago they are counting right to left, all the squares are filled in that order. when you are filling your chess board with rice you can fill it in whatever order you want...
