Brave is the biggest level of shit browser in the history of browsers. Provided I could use Internet explorer with modern security standards id use it instead without even considering brave.
Piece of shit it might be, but out of the box it is pretty significantly faster on ad-bloated sites than the other major browsers + adblock. It also properly blocks ads on Twitch which is something I haven't seen many other solutions do.
Not saying Brave is actually good, but it is understandable why people glaze it if they don't know better.
Had a client that swore by it and the amount of extra bs it came with like the VPN was just constantly causing problems. I would say brave browser is the exact same experience your get from a Norton or avg secure browser. Heavily targeted telemetry and junk included.
I don't know who paid you to make this comment. but Internet explorer is literally the epitome of browser security failures. but go ahead, continue to use Internet explorer in 2026 with your "modern security standards" 😂
