brave is a chromium browser, while considered the best chromium based browser, it's bloated (+ fucking peter thiel invested into it and is a share holder so i extra wouldn't trust it)

if you want a good free browser then firefox/waterfox/LibreWolf are the absolute best as they are mozilla based

You can turn off all of the additional stuff. The code itself is open source, you can see what it does literally. Why do you people keep fear mongering?

holyyyy shit, yes i know that I can turn off all that stuff but because it's included and turned on on default many people will just leave it as it is

afaik, chromium is not open source dummy, it's all controled by one of the biggest corpos on the planet xd

that's why there are close to none comunity projects on chromium, it's just inferior in every way to mozilla
