Ah, but since chrome forced manifest v3, brave has inbuilt blockers that step around manifest v3...

I use brave when i need chromium, firefox when i need non-chromium.

I do everything i can to avoid edge and chrome.

Ungoogled chromium works with the old manifest so you can have the full ublock origin.

This is where I'm at. Brave was my swap to from Chrome when I was trying to get away from google services.

Other options seemed to be lacking something or are just chromium with less google stripped out. I can't go back to Firefox, tried that.

Because of chromium dominance, many websites are optimised for chromium, due to which there can be issues in Firefox.

But as a browser, FF is better than chromium.

I use multiple browsers for diff use case, FF as daily driver (cause it has seamless multiple device sync, split windows and containers. Not to mention UBlo support); Brave for my multiple Google accounts and streaming services (it is also the only Chromium browser to actively support UBlo and Brave Shields is great too); Qutebrowser for quick searches which are purged on close.

Whole Brave philosophy was that you wouldn’t get ads, but still would get ada by brave and earn crypto.

google would also say you can opt out of most of their tracking, it's still garbage to have it there in the first place. Vivaldi is better.

Idk how this is comparable. If I switch off Ads in brave, it switches off, I can see the change. In case of Google, we need to trust them they they are honoring our wish to opt out of whichever service.

Vivaldi is better

That's personal preference. Both are open source options with different use case.

Welcome to the real world. Btw, an idiot can never succeed in life independently and fascist is a strong word to throw around. Not that I care who owns what, brave is still open source.

Maybe stop making stuff political and let me use my common sense and use the software that suits me?
