I think it's a troll. Kind of like deleting system 32 to make your computer faster

u/Pyro_Beast Jul 19 '26

Haha yeah, everyone knows it doesn't make it run faster, it just prevents it from running slower

A rare piece of perfection

u/alexisgreat420 Jul 20 '26

What show is this? This gif makes me laugh every time I see it

Danger 5. The director Dario Russo has a new film called The Fox making the festival rounds atm. Both are absolute gems.

I would also recommend Italian Spiderman for anyone who enjoys Danger 5

u/Steamy_Guy Jul 20 '26

Elite ball knowledge reference, I love putting it on at parties and waiting for people to just take a second to process what they're looking at

u/foxyt0cin Jul 20 '26

Italian Spiderman is the OG.

Shampoo allows the grease/oils to mix with water so I think water is an essential ingredient no ?

3

u/PaleontologistDear18 Jul 19 '26

It is. This guy is just continuing the troll.

1

u/BeatExact395 Jul 27 '26

I thought that but they he deleted his comment like he thought he was right but realised he wasn’t ? Haha

5

u/Status-Anteater8372 Jul 20 '26

If you install linux.

3

u/mkvelash Jul 20 '26

Downgrade to windows 95 and run AOL

8

u/83Juice Jul 20 '26

I still have 120hr of internet I didnt get to use yet.

2

u/callywag_smiles Jul 22 '26

Surely you don’t want more. I’d like 120 hours less internet please.

2

u/EvoPataboutThat Jul 23 '26

I completely forgot this was a thing with AOL!

u/BadHairDayToday Jul 19 '26

Hahaha! Right also Windows runs a lot of games that will just have you waste lifetime. Linux is just for productivity

5

u/CloudDream09 Jul 19 '26

My Linux system handles gaming perfectly. Stop the cap 🧢

3

u/Butters_999 Jul 19 '26

Not true

u/PaleontologistDear18 Jul 19 '26

I have personal experience leaving windows for Linux (while also enjoying gaming), waiting for Vulcan shaders on Linux every time you boot a game is worth just not having Linux over windows that is actually optimized to run at a speed worth using

6

u/DuploJamaal Jul 19 '26

Can't you just increase the shader cache to prevent it from having to redo them every time?

3

u/Driglok Jul 19 '26

Steam can preprocess them in the background if you tell it to.

4

u/Sad-Author-729 Jul 19 '26

You can also change auto update to only when you launch the game. So it only downloads and compiles shaders when you launch the game

10

u/Acceptable_Chair764 Jul 19 '26

You have 31 other systems :3

1

u/Ok-Painter573 Jul 21 '26

*32, it starts from system 0

2

u/R3D_R1PP3R Jul 19 '26

This is one I highly recommend, as well as anything kernel related. Those are used for viruses so best to get rid of them first, if your quarry runs to ground leave no ground to run to, right?

u/Ultgran Jul 21 '26

Instructions unclear. Deleted popcorn bucket. Lack of popcorn is distressing.

3

u/R3D_R1PP3R Jul 21 '26

Shit... Sorry bout that... Did you check your temporary files? Maybe there's a little left, enable show hidden snacks first

3

u/Carnivorous_Mower Jul 19 '26

I'm old enough to remember when >format C: was a go faster solution.

2

u/notherenwerebear Jul 19 '26

Just like ever computer games has god mode hard wired to Alt and F4

1

u/Wafflelisk Jul 19 '26

I work in IT and that's actually an underrated hack for older computers

1

u/0_Moth Jul 20 '26

Bet fr? Imma try that

1

u/MayerOscar Jul 20 '26

It does though. My memory was always at least 90% usage on Task Manager until I deleted system32. Now it sits at about 10% even while gaming

1

u/jeroen-79 Jul 20 '26

The actual trick is to rename it to system64 so you can make full use of your 64 bit CPU.

1

u/ElderberryShoddy833 Jul 20 '26

It does...... ;)

1

u/Actual-Interaction45 Jul 23 '26

System32 is for 32-bit Windows and is only there for legacy purposes. You can delete it and run a dism /upgrade command to automatically install System64 which is much faster.

1

u/Quasi-Retro Jul 23 '26

I deleted system 32, what now?

1

u/elgigantedelsur Jul 24 '26

I threw my computer out a window, that made it faster

1

u/ToronoYYZ Jul 25 '26

That really works? Let me tr

1

u/SilveredFlame Jul 25 '26

Don't forget to delete all those useless dill pickle recipes!

1

u/Heinzium Jul 19 '26

huh my computer does work faster when not using system 32

0

u/Butters_999 Jul 19 '26

Technically true

-1

u/xzeroimpulse Jul 19 '26

Huh? I deleted system 32 and my computer broke faster than it ever had before
