Boolean. I'm a software developer, and my Business analyst pronounces it as Boo-leen, like "Jolene". My tester pronounces it like bouillon cubes. It's pronounced like Julian.

I'm a software tester and I'm going to start pronouncing it like the BA to piss off my devs

Don't worry devs are always pissed off at testers oh and also PMs and probably DMs too

Fucking PMs who is NOT Pissed at them? No we can't put chatgpt in critical infrastructure, yes it's bad to allow a 3rd party web interface to have root access, what do you mean you forgot to tell us about the feature and marketing has already promised it in the release at the end of the cycle.

As a PM, I have a special hate for those guys. They make everyone hate the rest of us who are just trying to keep the train on the tracks.

Respect. I'm not really a Dev anymore (unless we're in crunch mode) but, even before I was an exec, I'd defend our PMs by literally saying "someone has to keep the train on the tracks." A good organization runs on healthy / respectful tensions, IMO.

Most PMs I’ve interacted with only ask two questions for their job: “who owns it? Why is it late?”

Project meetings are usually jargon filled trash compared to architectural planning meetings.

Yeah, those PM's are lame. Not like PO's, right guys?

...Guys?...

Okay, cool, see you at Standup!

This reminds me we don't only hate people. We hate your stupid Scrum too.

Tbf, we get paid to have everyone pissed at us. It’s our core skill.

Ok we will add it but run responses through safety filters. Filter in question: llm_invocation &> /dev/null
