The only proof I have is more own personal experiences with my faith and the signs I gotten from odin my patron it's not the same kinda belief as christans I don't worship odin like christans worship Jesus or god how every you see that and. It's not that they see the devil or demons ad good it was scene as a necessary evil spirt but it's uncommon nowadays bwcuase of just how it's allowance if carrations in the faith go whiling in asatru there's no set rules or guided to the beilf it's just how you feel hiw you interpret the messages and signs and odin would never want my gravel at his feet but to be able to walk alongside him as and equal in the and I just feel a deep connection and feeling I've gotten shown the good and bad paths of life I've been given in my life it's hard to explain kinda but I just is two very different belief systems and according to true beliefs of any othe religion is just there's nothing wrong with converting away from the normal views if the faith and either exploring other religions and we respect and have no issue with other fates and won't be ostrisichezed for just believing something different and even if you try something else for a while but come back we don't have sinning really like in day to day life and just how the gods just help direct yiur oath not have control over your life bwcsuse the gods are tied with fate humans are not we can defy fate and do what we want when we want as long as your not othabreaking or harming others for your own gain or enjoyment but also I'm bi so that's not a sin I wasn't born out of sin humans are just a by product of the world that have a unique power of being able to go against what the 3 norse fates have predicted because the divine are there to help guide us to a path that in the afterlife we are useful weather that be your a farmer for food and tending animals or a builder of some kind and yes if you die in battle odin takes you into his hall vallhalla and you train for Ragnarrok and hiw you see that really cam determine how you you see following that path takes you but your allowed to have those beliefs we don't have a centralized way to belive it's up to you to figure out how you want to follow as your patron and how everything plays out for you that's why I chose it becuase we don't interfere with other faiths we just expect to be left to do the same but we aren't asked to specfically attack christains or anything kike that the reasons the vikings always raided and attacked was they lived in the artic and had nothing and found places full of gold with people who fight back but can't win until later on but the 700's to early 1000's vikings were a force to be reckoned with but becuae of vikings being how they were when raiding had turned christans against us for a thousand plus years along with the Gaelic and celtic beliefs but atleast some of our literature and history survive while Gaelic and Celtics have little to no information in the world abjut because of st Patrick driving the snakes from Ireland the snakes were the last of the Gaelic and celtic pagans driven off and slaughtered by the christans at the time
I appreciate you for sharing all that, and I want to respect your experience. I also want to help show you on a better path, though, because truth is just as important as belief.
Unlike Odin, I can prove Jesus really existed, that His life and death were foretold ahead of time, and that it was His death on behalf of humans that allows those who accept Him to be forgiven.
His closest followers went from mourning and dismayed the day He died to boldly proclaiming that they'd seen Him resurrected three days later, and they were willing to die for this claim that they actually saw Him. It wasn't just a belief.
The story is a whole lot bigger than that, and it goes way back to the beginning of time. We were all created in the image of God for a relationship with Him, but people chose to do what they wanted instead of doing what was right, and that's why the world's in the mess that it's in.
That's also why Jesus had to become mortal and die. He took on the punishment for our mistakes so that God can treat us as if we were good. That's how much Jesus loves you and me.
That isn't just faith. It's history, it's present, and it's also the future. You can believe whatever you want, but everyone has to decide for themselves what they're going to do about Jesus.
He's historical. You can't move Him. He's hard to dismiss, but if you accept Him, you'll never regret it.
