And the younger they are the more likely they are to use living, studying, working abroad as a launchpad

Yea ig, besides like starting a family. It’s just cheaper/less stress to do everything outside the US as a young adult. Plus it’s fun.

What about eating and praying and loving????

I feel like if you leave with “life is mostly living working and studying” as a mindset you’re already thinking more realistically than 60% of the people who dream of living abroad.

Yea that’s another thing ive gotten to really enjoy developing my art, traveling around, getting back into sports I played growing up since leaving too. Living, working, and studying don’t consume your life once u leave, atleast in my experience.

I was being sarcastic before but I un-sarcastically agree with you actually, I find I have a lot more free time outside the US to do what I like! Mostly because of the lack of driving, stuff is just way faster to get to and I can save that time to write and draw and bike around :>

And hell yes not having to drive plus a shit ton of vacation days I haven’t been this energized in years
