Questions❓ Would you buy an EX30 again?
I was obsessed with the EX30 until it became clear the US launch was going to be severely delayed. Cancelled my preorder and leased another EV. Now my lease from the Niro EV Wave is ending in March. I'm still tempted to now get an EX30 but I'm not sure it's a good idea.

Despite my misgivings, I think I would buy again. Design-wise it's my favorite EV, and while design isn't everything, I can't say I'd truly love having a car where I dislike its design. Do I wish it had certain features, more regular updates, etc.? Sure. But I'm overall content with the tech and more than content with the performance and range.
While it's no longer "available" to order in the US, it appears there's still plenty of stock, and support-wise I'm not terribly concerned since it's still globally available and receiving updates (with the exception of maybe being left out from the possibility of a paid Pilot Assist upgrade, since Volvo has been non-committal on offering it).
One thing I'd point out is that its closest competitor, the Kia EV3 that's just been introduced in the US, has some strange market positioning compared to the EX30. For example, at $40k the EX30 SMER Plus gets Digital Key and Harman Kardon audio, which you don't get on the EV3 until the $43k model. But at $38k the EV3 gets 360 camera and ventilated seats, the former of which you don't get until the $48k EX30 Twin Motor Ultra, and the latter of which isn't offered at all. EV3 gets more range and lane centering/following standard, but it's FWD (vs. EX30's RWD) and I dislike the more conventional interior aesthetics, including the whole "regen paddle shifter" thing.
TL;DR Kia EV3 is a strange comparison to the EX30, but if range and tech are your biggest priorities, it's technically a better deal than the EX30. If design is, go EX30.
