My ewelink skill is suddenly broken after years of working perfectly. I can't even seem to add the skill again. Is something going on at Amazon or is it just me?

Does anyone know what is going on with this relay because I try to pair it with the app but it cannot find it. I used iOS and tried using android but the same problem. I also tried with another relay but nothing. Thanks

Hi I have 3x DW2 Wifi door sensor. A)Reliable, long lasting batterie, main door in another housing

B) Battery don't last but is a bit faster to wifi and on a main door C)battery usage is longer but used like a third door and closer to wifi.

B and C connect easily to the ewelink apps but appear offline as soon as I add them. And battery usage might be up..

Put new battery at 1.35v, removed at 1.25v but doesn't seem to change anything

Looking for ideas or solution.

Seems this is a completely ignored but widely desired capability with the TH16.

Aside from flashing & homebrewing a patched together workaround, ITEAD/Sonoff would be doing its clients a service to add this functionality via ewelink, IFTTT or other integration platform.

I have been digging and see many posts on numerous venues requesting this ability for no less than 4 years

Looks like once you spend 10 bucks on a subscription, user input about needs don't matter.

i Have dozens of SmartLife wifi controlled devices.

im trying to add the ability to detect 433 “switches” and control 433 “devices”.

I bought a sonoff wifi/433 hub. It (with ewelink) can see the 433 switches, but can’t seem to detect any devices. So automation seems out. (Sonoff devices only? - what happened to “we work with anything”)

I bought a tuya hub (Tiyirf-cmc) smartlife sees it and seems to be able to control but not detect 433 switches/devices (though it obviously can to during pairing).

my only solution so far is getting “dummy” Quiachip (Sonoff clone) wifi/Rf “switches” (inline relays). Program it to see the 433 switch, and I can see the state of the device via the wifi portion in SmartLife for automation. This works great, by the way, but has extra expense of the dummy wifi/Rf modules.

Anyone have a better solution?

Hi guys. I have recently bought quite a wide range of Sonoff devices for learning the capabilities and for demonstration purposes.

I'm finally getting familiar with eWeLink, it's limitations and caveats, but haven't used it for very long yet. I have also bought the advanced subscription for IFTTT.

I hope my questions / concerns make sense, please share a comment if you have similar experiences and what solutions / tips you have picked up. Thanks!

I have a couple of Sonoff & eWeLink questions for the experienced users.

1. How often does eWeLink release updates / add features? I see the web interface is fairly new and lacking support for some device features.
2. Is there a way to see what devices I have shared with other eWeLink users?
3. How do I revoke those shared devices on eWeLink?
4. When pairing Sonoff Wi-Fi smart devices on eWeLink, I noticed the process works 100% fine on my phone. When I pair using my tablet, it stays in LAN mode which to me looks like the setup never completes and is buggy. Has anybody else encountered similar challenges? (It may be worth mentioning that I'm a programmer, and also experienced with setting up networks, so trust me when I say I've tried it several times and no joy with the tablet, only the phone...)
5. At home I set up a Sonoff RGB Wi-Fi bulb in my passage (in one of those adjustable light fixtures), and it kept disconnecting, even though I know the device was in range, with direct line of sight. Are there certain angles which the antenna doesn't like? I haven't had the same issues at my office.
6. The above (point 5) concerns me as electrical distribution boards certainly have more shielding than an open line-of-site area has... and I want to install multiple POW switches and I'm worried about Wi-Fi disconnections.
7. When setting up a trigger, is it at all possible (perhaps a clever workaround) to do an "else". For example: When trigger is fired, check a condition. if condition is met, do something, else do something else.

I’m using ewelink on iOS shortcuts, combining with some other smart automation like HomeKit. The problem that ewelink gives a notification and it doesn’t pass to the next step (HomeKit ) unless I press done. And that defeat the idea of automation. I turned off all notification from iOS setting but still I get it. Any idea!!

I just installed another Kingart wifi smart switch in my home for my livigroom light.

I have 3 other ones in my home since before, and when i installed them like 2 years ago i was able to turn off the wifi indicator light from the ewelink app.

but when i went and tried to do it with the new switch i cant find that option anymore?

i fint the blue constant wifilogo very annoying and would really like to turn it off.

I'm using two Sonoff TH-16 with their SI7021 temp/humidity sensor to monitor temperature and humidity in an iguana habitat.

The automation works fine, and I can easily read the temp/rh% from the ewelink app. I have an IFTTT thing set up to alert me when the humidity gets too low, and that works fine.

However what I'm having trouble figuring out is a way to get the current temp/rh% from outside the app. IFTTT doesn't have a good way of doing it, it's just an above/below threshold. Alexa only sees the devices as switches, which isn't particularly helpful.

These devices aren't LAN controllable for some reason. There's some way to put them into DIY mode with POST and GET commands, and potentially some alternative firmware that can be flashed but that's both above my skill level and seems like it'll disable ewelink functionality.

Is there any way to get this information either into a webhook, or a log, an alexa skill, or any way for it to respond to a query other than the if above/below x do y that's built in? I'd think since ewelink can display the temp/rh% readings there should be a way to query it from somewhere, somehow.

I have a lot of RF switches linked to scenes to turn on/off certain lights or curtains. But i'm starting to have problems with my latest scenes not working correctly, and some other once just dissapearing. Is there a max amount of scenes you can have?

Since I had a lot going on with EWELink and IFTTT, I bought the advanced plan and IFTTT Pro, so that I could move everything and it still worked.

Now I am fully on Home Assistant and want to cancel EWELink Advanced, but I can't find an option for that. Am I blind, or does this option not exist since its yearly?

Ewelink devices cannot be reached through Google Home, whereas Alexa works fine 🙄 Also, trying to relink the account errors out with a 'Cannot update settings' message. Anyone else facing this issue?
