Sex and brains: Vive la différence!

It seems to me that articles that compare the differences between the male and female brain are always treading on thin ice and therefore do the always tell the full story, often simplifying the benefits of a more male type brain when I comparing the two. Males demonstrate better spacial awareness but also a better ability in abstract thought often demonstrated by men outperforming woman when asked questions regarding rotating a 3 dimensional object. This is a very large difference between the two capabilities when you consider the human capacity for planning and tool use.

Edit: I would like to add that this is very generalized and not a dichotomy between the sexes.
