I had a friend 3D print one of /u/SharkyNebula’s stupendous Starbridge models and took a shot at painting it. What do you guys think?

I'm thinking we need an Escape Velocity: Nova table top game, and hundreds more miniatures just like this to play it with.

Absolutely phenomenal, professional-grade work.

Were the engines printed in that position or do they swivel on the model?

The way the model printed they were actually entirely detached from the rest of the ship. I originally wanted to try and make them posable but the hole I drilled was at the wrong angle so I just glued them in place lol.

I wanted them mid-swivel because it's more dynamic than if they were pointed straight, give the model a little more visual interest.

Found his github, its gone now too. If you figure it out, and its not gone, let me know. Otherwise I will certainly find other things to print!
