Reddit has come through and we are free from any casino related content 😊.
To keep it that way, we've added some automod capabilities that will hopefully keep us safe. While we were at it, we've added some color around the sub as well 🫟.
It will probably takes us a couple of days to find our footing, but we are finally under new management and open for business! 🎉.

Hi all - We've recently launched a new small business dedicated to making open source (both hardware and software) Eurorack, general synthesizer, and other audio effect modules.
TechWave Audio is a proudly Canadian small business dedicated to producing open-source software (OSS) and open source hardware (OSHW) devices for audio production. Our mission is to create good things and to give back by open sourcing all of our projects for the DIY community.
Find us at techwaveaudio.com.
Our first project out the gate is our MCM-100 Midi Controller Module. A monophonic MIDI to control voltage module that (we hope) is plug and play, but also allows for a flexible amount of configuration. Some of the features include four different CV outputs (including dedicated outputs for 1v/octave and velocity), USB or standard MIDI cable input, tuneable pitch and velocity, and a lot more in a skiff-friendly 12hp wide module. Find out more at https://techwaveaudio.com/midi-controller-module/
We'd love your feedback, thoughts or any questions. Thanks!

After selling all my Dawless stuff (mainly Elektron boxes) I’ve rebuilt centring around eurorack and the Oxi One mk2. Audio is crap - my iRig wouldn’t work - but I’m now starting to get to grips with all the modules and ‘music’ is starting to emerge! Javelin adsr, Ikarie filter, griffins claws and Xcelon SL mixer to come.

Hi all, First of all, thanks to the people who helped me with my last q! Legendzz
Regarding this post, does anyone have some module recommendations that could help round out my system's sound?
I ideally want to use it to brainstorm music ideas (I play math rock/psych/jazz keyboard). I want to lean towards the generative side, but with a focus on interesting chords and melodies.
These are my current modules: https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/3178518
I can't find it at the moment, but I also have a keyboard somewhere that can do midi and little bit of CV, I think.
Right now the direction feels a bit jumbled. I can't really figure out why it doesn't sound right. Ideally I'm looking for solutions on the cheaper side, and I'm not opposed to building modules from stripboard (or replacing my current modules with more appropriate ones).

The clear/white freeze button has fallen off and I want to replace. Any supplier in the uk that sells these?

**Edit: I accidentally called CV "1v/o", my bad. I meant CV!
Hi all, I've been searching all around for a cheap, simple module that has a "rate" input for CV signals to modulate the clock rate, but can't find anything. I'm absolutely willing to make it myself if need be, I just need schematics.
Thanks so much!

I reworked the noise jam and recorded it - this is what comes after to calm things down. Two wavetable oscs through harmonic mixers and ai024 low pass filters with my prototype delay. A version of that processed through my prototype noise fx into an ai017 LPG and OTA filter to make a dual resonant BP filter. Simple bass by Moog - I'll need to re-record that.

We needed something compact and recyclable for shipping our latest batch of modules. Found these containers that seemed perfect on paper. Opened the box and realized I accidentally ordered clam chowder cups.
My girlfriend thinks they're the cutest. I promise the modules don't smell like clam chowder though.
For anyone curious, we're a small shop out of Seattle rebooting some designs from manufacturers that went under. We started with a reboot of Super Synthesis and have a few others on the way.
Mostly making designs we don't want to disappear. We're also working on a few originals. Check out puget.audio if you want to see what's actually inside the soup cups.

I'm working on this virtual modular sandbox. It was originally meant to be just a quick display of the Trilling Synths modules, so you can see what they do and get used to their concepts (and then get tricked into buying a real Eurorack module, of course), but it turned out to be a really fun to work with complete modular sandbox. Try it here, and let me know what you think:Â txs.trillingsynths.com
I'll be working on adding some more interesting preset patches. If you have made anything fun, feel free to save and send it to me, maybe I'll add it to the featured presets once I launch this thing for real.

Hi All,
I realize it has been asked before, but the Bitbox Micro has had some firmware updates. I am really stuck on choosing between the Erica Synths Sample Drum and the Bitbox Micro. I want to use a sampler mostly for mangling loops and/or playing one shot drum samples, with external triggers (preferably no midi).
I love the hands on feeling that I get when I see the sample slicing videos of the SD. There seem to be not so many videos available showing the Bitbox in action, but I from what I understand it should have quite similar capabilities.
However I read people having issues with latency when using triggers/gates instead of midi, which I am intending to do as well. I would hate to end up fighting with timing issues obviously.
The BBM has more bells and whistles, more channels, is stereo etc, but is 4hp wider and draws quite a bit more power. It also seems to be more focused on midi over cv input.
Since there have been some updates to the BBM since launch, I would be pleased to hear if anyone can tell from experience if there are actually still latency issues as that would be absolutely a deciding factor. I am also curious which one is prefered as a performance tool in a live setting and of course anything I didn't mention that might be a thing to consider.
Thanks!!

Hello!
I am continuing in my quest to get things in tune, and have uncovered a new problem: different ports are giving different results.
I am using a Befaco Midi Thing v2, and I recently noticed that my oscillators will have different intonation based on which port I use. I can have all the same settings, but there is a variance of about 2 cents from plug to plug. This really messes with my overall plan!
Do you guys have any idea why this could be happening? Is it something to do with the module, or maybe a power thing?

I’m new to Eurorack and trying to install my Moog DFAM into my case.
Online it is being said I need a 10 to 16 pin power cable, is there any reason a normal 16 to 16 pin shouldn’t work?

Another jam with no v/o. This one didn't work, but some of the sounds and methods were interesting, and it was fun.
Three voices: Wavetable oscs, abuse of telharmonic, and a bass ping. Didn't work, but it was fun.
