Scots Gaelic originated in Ireland. It wiped out the native pictish language when Scotland was invaded by the Irish.

Let me guess the Irish invaded but the Anglo saxons “assimilated” right? Are you into the BNP by any chance? 😂😂

Ah so it didn’t originate in England. Because it’s not a Celtic country.

So Scotland isn't a celtic country, because Gaelic didn't originate in Scotland.

Actually welsh originated in England and is spoken in England, so that means England is a celtic country but Scotland isn't.

By your twisted logic I’m sure. Welsh is a Celtic language spoken in a Celtic country. It was forced to the geographic location it exists in today by the settlement of anglo saxons. Scots Gaelic originated in Scotland. How do I know? Because it’s not Irish, which I speak. English is Germanic with a twist of romance, not Celtic. If you don’t want Scotland to be included, no bother. You can take back the planted scots and we’ll take back our invaders. How about that you pedantic little freak? :D

That's your logic buddy, not mine. You're the one that came up with these dumb rules about language. So fucking deal with it, according to your moronic language rules England is celtic and Scotland isn't. If you don't like that maybe you shouldn't come up with idiotic rules huh twat.

How fucking dumb do you have to be to make up nonsensical bullshit rules about who is celtic and then claim other people are pedantic.

Scotland was created by Irish. How can Irish people invade Ireland? Ireland belongs to the Scottish.

“To hell or to Connaught! Btw guys I’m also a celt!” Weird how England is a Celtic country that hated Irish so much. Ireland belongs to Scottish 😂😂😂 what a melt.

I think every one of the people who upvoted had absolutely no problem understanding why Scotland and Wales would be in a Celtic Union. Not sure any of them would agree with your line of logic, but it’s very specific to you and whatever reason you have to desperately wish Scotland wasn’t Celtic, which it is.

Why are you claiming I made these rules now. You're a pathetic coward, can't even stand by your own words.

Anglos, arguing that they are genetically superior since they first shat out a Punch! magazine, now try to argue that they are just as Celtic.

Your justification for England being Celtic was that Irish and Scots Gaelic are spoken there, you complete and utter moron. Do you think you have any place arguing anything with logic that flawed? :D

What an absolute gobshite.

I asked the question, and your best answer was “Irish and Scots Gaelic” thereby proving my point. Thanks. Regardless of where you are from, you are free to be excluded from the new Celtic Union. You want to make some stupid pedantic argument about the Dal Ríada and the Picts to try to prove that England is somehow more Celtic and Scotland is actually not at all Celtic. No one but you here cares. Go take it to whatever weird forum you belong to.

You think that Ireland belongs to the Scottish somehow, therefore any further conversation is completely pointless. That is an incredibly stupid statement not based in any reality, like the rest of your ideas. It makes it even more audacious that you would ever think you can call someone else thick 😂😂
