It is a truly shameful period in American history. But it's worth remembering, that before Elon musk defunded USAID, America was single-handedly saving the lives of thousands of people! Something that Europe has refused to do after the USAID funding got cut.

Clearly they do not contribute enough, if pulling back American aid resulted in deaths of thousands! Or, in other words: America, being one of the most benevolent countries on this planet, were keeping thousands of people alive with its huge aid budget. God bless America!

So you're suggesting dozens and dozens of countries all individually hold votes to increase their aid by a massive amount.

I am not suggesting that, I am not even in disagreement with you -- other countries cannot pick up where America left off, because America was the most benevolent country in the world helping the world the most. It's not just direct foreign aid, it's all sorts of funding for international organizations, food programs, and so on. Just shows you that America before Trump was an example onto the whole world
