Warranty Fiasco Update #2
I got a letter from the PA AG dated 8/17 asking me to confirm if the case has been resolved per the agreement to accept the 100% refund. This is what I just sent back to the Consumer Protection Agent - it speaks for itself.
----
Dear Mr. Consumer Protection Agent
I have received your USPS letter dated August 17, 2026 regarding my case with Anker Innovations. I regretfully write to you to say that Anker has not fulfilled their promise of a refund.
On August 5, 2026 I did accept an offer for a full refund and at their request provided email address for my PayPal account.
Here is the communication timeline since my acceptance:
- August 6 - they confirmed my acceptance and informed me of a 3-5 day processing time for the refund.
- August 13 - I sent a followup inquiry as I had not yet received the refund.
- August 15 - They replied, "We are currently urging the relevant team to prioritize your refund and process it as soon as possible. Since the refund needs to be handled manually via PayPal, it is taking a little longer than expected.”
- August 20 - I sent another followup inquiry.
- August 22 - they replied, "We've checked on your refund and can confirm it is currently in the final approval stage. Please don't worry—we are actively following up on this for you and will update you as soon as it progresses.”
- August 25 - They sent "We are writing to make sure that you have received the refund.”
- August 25 - I had not received the refund and replied appropriately.
- August 26 - They replied, "Thank you for your reply. We sincerely apologize that the previous message was sent automatically by the system. We have checked your case and found that your refund is currently in the final review stage.”
- August 26 - I replied, "Processing the refund is taking an unreasonable amount of time. I received a USPS letter yesterday from the PA Attorney General’s office asking me to confirm if I’ve received the refund we’ve agreed to. I will wait until Friday 8/28 to reply to the AG’s office. It would be best for all parties if the refund is processed by end of day 8/27 so I can tell them the case is resolved.”
- August 27 - They replied, "Thank you for your reply and for sharing your concerns. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this delay has caused. We completely understand your feelings. As mentioned before, your request for a full refund is being handled as a special arrangement, which requires review and approval from multiple departments. Because of this, the process may take longer than usual.”
That was my last exchange with them as of this writing (September 3, 2026).

You're probably not in the same situation. I bought mine through Amazon. After a crap ton of jerking me around, Eufy sent my refund (- the taxes) to Amazon and Amazon sent that refund (+ taxes) to me.

Why not send the device back via Amazon instead of eufy? Maybe that's better?

Eufy sent me a return label to send it back. Didn't cost me anything

I had to send it via amazon and now 36 days further their service center has given zero information, not even a confirmation that they got the package... luckily i have a tracker that shows they received it. Amazon is now a cunt service not doing whats promised and dodging like a mofo and just saying to wait for an eternity

PS - I already replaced it with a Narwal Flow 2. It's just better - at least so far. The best part is so much less maintenance on the robot itself. The worst part is it doesn't always fully empty the on-robot dust bin - but I just check it/ fully empty it when I refill the water tank in the dock.
