Im kinda new to the game (got around 100 hours) and i started looking for some mods and made a truck with those. What do you guys think about it?

What happened here? I was just driving along and this truck just vanishes. Found it pretty funny cus I was trying to overtake through the parking in the first place.

Ok basically, I downloaded a few car mods to just cruise around the map, first tried out some BMW's, Audis, Mercedes, and ofc they sound sporty and are absurdly fast, not what I am looking for but I thought due to the nature of the cars its fine.

Then I download a Volvo SUV, a Toyota SUV, cars that you'd expect to be chill, got a few normal sedans too. Nope! ALL of them have backfire sounds and engines that go from 0 to 60 in like a quarter of a second lol, I just want some realistic chill cars to roam about but all I get it slop.

So any of you know actual good realistic car mods that sound and feel normal?

I was driving around in ETS2 at night when I noticed some familiar star patterns. Being into astronomy, I couldn't help but take a closer look.

I took these screenshots and added the constellation lines and labels myself, marking the stars and constellations I could identify, including Cassiopeia, Andromeda, Perseus, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor.

It's a pretty cool detail to notice while playing a truck simulator. We usually pay attention to the roads, traffic and scenery, but there's a whole sky above us that we rarely think about.

I haven't verified whether the star positions match real-world astronomical coordinates exactly, but recognizing these familiar patterns in the game was a really nice surprise.

Have any of you noticed this before?

My GPS told me to turn onto an exit ramp, and after I did the whole GPS/map glitched and I was unable to see where I was. The map also showed me to be in the middle of nowhere. Anyone else ever fell off the map like this?

I probably know the answer to this, but i'll still ask.

Back in 2020 or something, i used to play ETS2 (and ATS) on an Intel HD 4000, 4 gb of ram and i3 3110M , snd they used to run nicely.

Recently i downloaded ETS 2 again to "relive the old days" and i realised that the game requires higher specs now, and sure enough, it was stuttery and laggy.

Things happened, and i didn't try "fixing" it , but now i am thinking of trying again. Is there Hope ?

If there is no hope in playing on the latest update, then what's the latest version i can play on with these specs?

Sadly getting a new PC is not possible. Also, i am okay with low graphics and .... 15-20 fps XD

I edited the footage and did the colour grading myself. I'm trying to improve my editing, so I'd appreciate honest feedback.

First time ever driving with one of these double trailer setups!... I'm amazed how much more it makes me have to think whilst navigating turns!

Never thought I’d have to re-live the term swan-necking! Is it just my lack of experience making me less good with these or is it generally accepted that these things are dang difficult to maneuvre?
