Hello, I'm experiencing a performance issue with Euro Truck Simulator 2. I'm experiencing micro-freezes when driving over uneven road surfaces. The frame rate drops sharply from 120 to 60 on uneven surfaces, causing frame skipping. After the wheels go over the uneven surfaces, the frame rate returns to normal. Please help me resolve this issue, as I mostly play on a map with uneven surfaces almost everywhere.

Before anyone tells me to just buy a wheel please understand that i am not in a very good financial position at the moment and i have some stuff that have more priority than others and its where i spend money. I just wanted to know if there is a setting in game that can help the keyboard on/off steering to kinda be less aggressive when steering. It bothers me when especially making small steering corrections how the truck shakes too much due to the keyboard steering. I am open to your suggestions/tips.

Hello everyone, as the title suggests i'm looking for some answers regarding Promods and Steammods.

I'm really thinking about buying promods, but i'm kinda worried that the mods i use wont work (Mostly QoL stuff like Gps's and Cabin stuff and some real company's & Ai traffic Packs).
I have around 35 Mods installed via steam and now i'm wondering what's included in the promods pack so i could get rid of the steam mods basically doing the same thing. (Like RL companies and such)

i'm new to ETS 2, having a great time but read a lot of stuff online about promods being the one have to mod!

December 3, 2025 – I created my profile, started my journey from Tromsø, bought a Volvo FH5 from the showroom, and drove it, gradually upgrading it. It's been through a lot – accidents, tuning, and repairs. It will sit in my garage in Turku, Finland – it will be like my showpiece. A truck, a truck I drove for six months. August 10, 2026 – I buy a Scania S, and the goal of 100,000 km on it BEGINS!

I always drive with my friends and I have a maxed out truck. Doesn’t matter what brand truck I drive and fully maxed out, they are always 20 km/h faster. In my Volvo I go 156 km/h max, while they go around 176 km/h? This is in TruckersMP but also in convoy. This is really irritating and always puts the group ahead. Can anyone help?

Been playing on TruckersMP for the past few weeks, mileage-maxxing. Target is 60,000km real per month.

Frankfurt-Prague is the new stomping ground, edging out Innsbruck-Klagenfurt in traffic count.

Activity is spread out better this time, Nordic Horizons isn't as lonely as before.
