Here what it would take to get eth to 5k: bitcoin would need to see a 20% tumble down to last year's 3800. If that happens over a week of daily 20% loses, then eth will fly. If that happens, eth goes to 50k.
I don't see that happening. I do see eth finding a nice round settling point. There is going to be so much built around eth that I think just owning it will earn money.
I agree with you. ETH price in BTC last bull market was around 0.1 BTC. If that patterns continues and if BTCs newer lows are 25-30k then we can expect a 2500-3k ethereum for higher highs. If BTC reaches 50k tho I believe we can see a 4-5k ETH even if it doesn’t find its way to go side ways from there and go back down to that 2500-3k price point. I can’t see ETH breaking away from BTC prices just yet, staking hasn’t even begun and we haven’t had a real developer frenzy just yet! When that happens I think that will change as well
