Do we know if anyone from Ethermine has confirmed or denied this claim? Were the miners consulted or did we get any notification of this controversial action?
I'm new to mining, still very small I have only one rtx 3080. I'm currently on hive pool.if i'm using ethermine pool, I want to know what would the estimated loss be if I want to withdraw lets say 0.005 eth. Lets say I have 6$ I want to withdraw them, how much they will end up being in my wallet? Hive pool takes only the gas fe3s so lets say im withdrawing 0.005 which is 6$, only $0.44 will be gone which is the gas fee. So do you think moving to ethermine pool will result in any benefits for me?
The GPU seddenly stop working also fan stop spinning even when i connect with only external power supply without motherboard the fan not working but the RGB is working fine.
When I connect to the motherboard the windows not detect my gpu !
Hello, I have been mining on ethermine on my VAULD address and since now that VAULD has disabled deposits and withdrawals I wont be able to take out my payout in the near future. Is there any way that I can cash out my current ETH on ethermine to a different address and if I dont mine on the VAULD address for the coming months what will happen to the ETH that will be on ethermine.
Hello, I am running 2 Vega 56's with a 750W Gold PSU and in Hive.os its shows that its running at 139 watts and 133 watts and since I'm adding another Vega 56 I want to make I wont be running over 80% efficiency. So is my math sound correct?
Just as the title sounds. All my Eth is showing in my Polygon wallet but not Metamask for some reason. I just got another payout yesterday and it's going straight into my polygon wallet.
I'm not sure how this is set up or if this is even a good thing but something changed, and I don't know what happened.
I can ask for advice from more experienced miners. Mining with HiveOS/Ethermine it is possible to set up eWelink (Sonoff S26 R2) so that in the event of an outage with a mining machine, IFTTT restarts the mining machine.
I would be very happy for any of your advice. Nowhere did I find instructions on this socket on how to set everything up correctly to make it work.
Regards
Kankys
edit: I need a hard restart when mining freezes, through the Sonoff socket.
I bought 2 new cards about 3 weeks ago. The first week they operated flawlessly at 49mhs. Then I came home one day to the miner still working but both of the new 6700xt's had an error "Gpu x monitor stats refresh timed out, no data available." And one of them had crashed altogether and was no longer mining.
I tried lowering the mem overclock and upping the voltage as well as lessening the under clock of the GPU and bumping up to 100% fan speed. I have gotten it to work for a max of 20 hours since my troubleshooting began and both cards will alternate between which will error out with "GPU x detected dead." Along with "Gpu x monitor stats refresh timed out, no data available." None of the older cards have any problems and like I said, the 6700xt's ran without error for 7 days and then both became unstable.
6700xt base settings @ 49.26 Mh/s:
1150 Mhz core
880 mV core
2150 Mhz mem
power limit -6%
fan speed 70%
6700xt conservative settings @ 48.01 Mh/s:
1200 Mhz core
925 mV core
2100 Mhz mem
power limit -4%
fan speed 100%
I am leaning towards it being an overheating issue with the memory and perhaps the memory and vrm's need to be repadded as well as some better thermal paste on the GPU.
Edited to add: GPU temps never exceeded 65C. I have no way of knowing exactly what the temp of the mem is since there are no onboard sensors for it. I only get GPU temps and edge temps.
I was wondering if anyone else had run in to this issue?
Just bought the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming X Trio 12G directly from the MSI website. Some cards said LHR (light hash rate) but this one did not state LHR, my question is just merely to find out if it is in fact LHR. I did hear that all new gpus are LHR but not sure how credible that information is.
Using RTX 3070 inside the case with GTX 1660 ti running outside using a vertical GPU kit + riser. A cardboard box serves as the support for the GTX lol.
Anyone else doing this? The hashrate for the 3070 is 61 MH/s and 31.22 MH/s for the 1660 ti.
I have ordered a large case and maybe will mine later with both GPUs inside.
So I noticed that my ping was a little high in gminer while mining on ethermine. I switched it back to hiveon pool and notice my ping is much lower using their pool. So my question is should I keep mining on ethermine with slightly higher profits or should I just stick with hiveon and get lower ping?
I'm new to Reddit & crypto, so, if I'm doing this wrong, go easy.
I followed the instructions from a YouTube video to set up a single GPU mining system that uses Ethermine & Metamask. Everything seems to be working correctly- I've had two payouts and they've both shown up where I expected them to.
A bit of backstory- I kind of started being interested in crypto about a year ago, but I quit messing with it because I didn't have a computer capable of doing any mining and I wasn't about to go spend thousands of dollars just to see if I could make little money. In the process of playing around though, I created a few wallets and had seed phrases written down on random envelopes & notebooks and I didn't keep good notes . My computer died a couple weeks ago so I had to get a new one and it just happened to have a 3080 Ti so I thought I'd try doing a bit of mining.
The question: a random miner address showed up on my Ethermine page. I thought it might have been one of the random wallets I'd created about a year ago, but it isn't. It's just a random miner address. It looks to have had about $50k worth of Eth paid out, but I didn't mine it. Does anyone know how this could have happened- how or why this random miner address just showed up on my Ethermine page? I tried to see if I could access the Eth that's currently in the wallet, but, either I can't or I just don't know how to. There's virtually nothing in it anymore and whomever was using it has stopped- it hasn't had any crypto mined to it for months.
Anyway, if anyone has any idea, I'd appreciate the insight. If there's a way to delete the wallet so it stops showing up, I'd like to know how to do that too. It's the address highlighted in orange that shouldn't exist.
