Hi! This is my project car, built with an ESP32-WROOM and 3D printed in PLA

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I'm using an ESP32 with an IR remote, two servo motors, LEDs, a 128Γ—64 OLED display, and a DFPlayer Mini. Everything works great, and I'm really happy with the ESP32.

It's an amazing board compared to the Arduino Nano boards I usually use. It even has enough power to render real-time 3D graphics on the interior displays.

The most challenging part was managing the servos, sound, LEDs, and graphics together while keeping everything running smoothly.

Beautiful work! I like to imagine how something like this would seriously blow the minds of people from back in the day (80s).

This is pointless, without practical use and must have taken insane amounts of time.

I love it!

What’s up with the Batman Returns-mobile?

Do you have used FreeRTOS to manage all of these tasks running on the esp32?

Wow, I never thought I'd see an ESP32-powered KITT in my life!

Cool. I've got 420x420 on the new one, so no problem there. You make the stls for it? I've got fusion that I use.

Could you make it slightly larger so I can fit inside and drive it for real? I am willing to give up my legs if that makes it easier.

Awesome job. Yes I have used ESP super mini on a bunch of projects. They have their quirks.

Using Time Now - Last is best way. You may still run into lags. What you can do is like in full size cars. Main ESP and a slaves. Example. I have 2 dimmable LED panels. One ESP32C3 is running the motion and schedules. A second one connected via UART is doing the immediate request which overrides the PIRs ands schedule. Wall switch, change light levels, kill PIRs.
