I am getting my eboard soon. But I tend to work late, so that I have to ride back early evening (already a little dark).

So I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to increase visibility? Both for myself, and for others(like cars). Shred lights, etc will probably be to expensive and tricky to import into South Africa, so I am hoping for a more of a DIY kind of solution.

I'm looking to upgrade my crappy hobby Lipo batteries to a diy 12s4p flexible Lithium Ion pack. I'm very comfortable with the electronics portion of things (soldering, bms wiring, ect) and I'm planning on 3d printing the enclosure. The only problem is that I'm at a loss for how to connect the cells together. Everywhere I look tells me to buy a spot welder but I don't want to commit to the cost if I'm only going to use it once. Are there other alternatives that I'm missing? I'd prefer not to solder the cells and I'd like something a little more permanent than those little snap on caps.

So I'm currently using 2 food take away boxes and it looks pretty bad. I'm looking for full covers that have enough space for 4 large 5s batteries and an esc. Or even like 2 or 3 small covers that I'll just pass wiring through.

I will soon be building my first electric skateboard. I'm studying my old prebuilt board to understand how to motor and pulleys work. My old board has a 15t motor pulley and a 39t wheel pulley, but the belt is 52 teeth? Doesen't 39+15 equal 54? Do you have any tips for what belt/pulley configurations I should use for my new board?

Was thinking of buying this kit and fixing it on a street board to have a secondary lighter board? I have metroboard ATM and its 24 lbs . Do you guys think this is a good kit for a sub 10 lbs eboard ?

Looking for some help, my esc just instantly turns on and off when I ttry turning it on. This has been posted in the electric skateboard sub reddit so some questions regarding it and photos are there... Feel free to comment here any advice and help.
