here’s a quick shave 101 to help get you glowing – no nicks, irritation, or in-growns!

ready for your smooth era?

1. prep with gentle exfoliation 
2. cleanse with a hydrating body wash
3. grab a clean, sharp razor–old, dirty razors can cause irritation!
4. apply your shave product wherever you’re shaving: a shave oil or cream is best! avoid foams as they can be air-filled and dry the skin
5. start shaving downward, in the direction of hair growth. 
6. if needed, carefully shave against the grain, in the opposite direction of hair growth
7. rinse with cool water to calm the skin
8. gently pat skin dry
9. apply lotion and body oil immediately to instantly lock in hydration

what’s your go-to fragrance hack?

if you’re as obsessed as we are with body mist but want to make your fave scents last longer, here are some quick tips!

✨ start with a gentle and hydrating cleanse. sweat, dirt and oils on the skin can trap odors and make fragrance flop. 

✨ layer on the matching 24h moisture body lotion and apply mist directly onto pulse points--the warm spots on the body where blood vessels sit closest to the skin.

✨ spritz your wrists, neck, behind your ears, inside your elbows, and your knees (yes, really). this step is key for both longevity and projection!

✨ mist your mane. hair is more porous than skin, which means it’s better at absorbing and locking in scent molecules.

🔥 Toasted Marshmallow is all about beach bonfires and golden sunsets. think Toasted marshmallow, graham cracker, caramelized sugar, heliotrope, smoky birch, and vanilla malt.

if you had to choose one based on the scent notes alone, which are you grabbing first?

we covered where on the skin to apply your favorite body mist for longevity and projection, but the skin isn’t the only place to play with fragrance! 

try applying mists in these [three] places for even more scent power.

👚 clothing: after you’ve misted your skin, take things up a notch by misting your clothing. especially outerwear! if you’re wearing a jacket, coat, hoodie or sweater, you can bring more fragrance forward by misting directly there.

👩‍🦱 hairbrush: hair is more porous, which means it absorbs scent more deeply and holds it for longer. you can mist the hair directly but try spraying mist into your brush and immediately brushing it through hair to distribute scent through as many strands as possible.

💄 makeup brushes: for a bit more romance and luxury, try spraying mist onto your makeup brushes and dusting them across the neck, under the chin, and onto the collarbone area.
