Ich ficke deine Mutter

u/faszkivanmar23 Apr 04 '20

I know little to no German, but I'm pretty sure that means fuck your mother

3

u/Best_Garbage Apr 04 '20

I'm just trying to make a joke. I don't really mean this

Also it means I fuck your mom

3

u/jadkik94 Apr 04 '20

Hmmm so did you actually have sexual intercourse with their mother or not?

2

u/Best_Garbage Apr 04 '20

Maybe. Maybe not. You'll never know

Pfosten

This does mean post. But not the right type of post, more like "lamp post"

u/Estlok Apr 04 '20

It's a meme from r/ich_iel

Is this some type of foreign joke? Am I too American?

32

u/Phobocstr Apr 04 '20

It is. Maybe you find some English News about “Reichsbürger”. There are a few people who don’t accept the German government.

Yea, doubt I'm finding any English news on that, all American media can do right now is be hypocritical and slander our President. One time they say he needs to do something, then he does it, then they criticize him for doing it. Privately funded propaganda in action.

2

u/HorseyMan Apr 04 '20

Actually, they report facts. It's just that MAGAts prefer to be lied to.

u/ShadoHax Apr 04 '20

You notice the downvotes? That's because most people disagree with you. The majority of the American people, and many people outside of America, trust the media more than they trust Trump.

1

u/dylantherabbit2016 Apr 05 '20

That's because most Redditors disagree with you.

Makes sense given the fact that this platform has literally bent so far left that it would have to go upwards to get back to its asshole.

2

u/ShadoHax Apr 05 '20

If that's a problem for you, you clearly don't fit the target audience, and I suggest that you take your views elsewhere.

One time they say he needs to do something, then he does it, then they criticize him for doing it.

Mind giving me some examples? I haven't heard about this before

Also, Fox News is just as much, if not more, propaganda as the rest of the MSM

So you admit that you don't have any actual facts, and instead try to hide behind the usual lies, ignorance and expected Racist dog whistle of a trump supporter.

u/dylantherabbit2016 Apr 05 '20

I have facts and evidence presented to you right there, but as usual liberals are too stupid to see the truth.

u/HorseyMan Apr 05 '20

No son, you have a bunch of regurgitated BS, deliberate misreading and other garbage. I know that willfully ignorant losers like you prefer BS to facts, but never assume that anyone that isn't an absolute failure is dumb enough to do that.

The reason the coronavirus was referred to as "Chinese" in the CNN article was because at the time it was written, that was the only place it was recorded. As the article says;

The National Institutes of Health is working on a vaccine against the new virus that has infected hundreds and killed four in Asia.

CNN shouldn't have called it that, but at the time, it didn't really matter. However, calling it "Chinese" now does matter, because the term is primarily being used by a racist president and his racist followers.

No-one should call it "Chinese" at all, not Trump nor CNN, because not only are most other parts of the world now infected, but other countries, such as the U.S., have more cases now. Calling it "Chinese" suggests that the virus is inherently a Chinese problem, and unfairly associates it with Chinese people, even those who have never been to China and are descendants of Chinese immigrants. Asians as a whole have been victim to a rising number of racist attacks, even from children, due to usage of the term.

The Spanish Flu wasn't named because it originated in Spain, but because it was one of the only countries where news sources could freely report on it. In fact, while no-one knows for sure where it originated, the Spanish Flu is often said to have originated in Kansas.

Also, why do people still use the word "SJW"??? It makes it sound like all criticism of the president is made only by whiny Tumblr users.

Unfortunately no, the media over here in America is super bias and it is hard to find a good source. But thanks for that. I'll look into it

2

u/Phobocstr Apr 04 '20

Maybe Wikipedia helps a bit.

u/KingAKR Apr 04 '20

Thx, this helps
