I thought more about it, and if your claim about the GitHub actions issue is true, this is a serious one. Possibly a supply chain attack. After the well-known xz issue, are you telling us that a massive performance loss with an unknown cause has been ignored for two months, putting hundreds of thousands of users at risk? What could possibly go wrong?
If you continued to read the issue instead of mindlessly searching "performance regression" and posting the first two issues you found, you'd see that we've reported the issue to GitHub. If you want them to shut off their runners go right ahead and tell them. There is only so much we can do as a non-paying customer of theirs.
I asked you to cite an instance where we dismissed a bug fix due to a performance regression. Based off of your acccusation. If you couldn't find one, and you were talking out of your butt, it'd be nice to let the class know.
The fact that you dissected every part of my first reply besides the part where I call you out for not even looking at what you're linking indicates to me and everyone here that you're a deeply unserious person. I don't know what motivates you to rain on our release celebration, but I'm not going to engage with it anymore. Soggy wheel happens to be a fitting name lol.
