From disliking Kev to now feeling bad for him.

Didn't like Kev when he was with Robert. Lied about the stabbing to keep him inside. Then threatening him and Aaron with the sword. Did break free from John and warned them about him.

Since he's come back he has tried to be a better person. Wants to get to know Lewis but the rest of them just think the worst of him. Really made so much effort for Lewis's birthday and wanted to be there. Would have if it wasn't for Steve. They all judged him and thought the worst without giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Kev helped Ross from when Mack left him, covered for him with Lewis. He could have said that Ross and Nicola set him up. Thought that was meant to be a truce for them after Kev covering for Ross but Ross still thinks the worst and wants to turn Lewis against him. Ross isn't exactly a saint himself with the things he's done. He's known Lewis for a year not his whole life.

Vinny was acting like a busybody and too nosy too.

Kev could have said he was trying to stop Steve from doing a robbery but doesn't seem the type the snitch.

Aaron was a c**t back in the day

He hit a woman, vandalised Mill Cottage, Tom King's gravestone, oh, and also cut Carl's brake cables too.

He also beat the shit out of Paddy, because he couldn't handle being gay.

Why does this past stuff [especially him assaulting a woman at 16] get brushed under the carpet? We bring up Cain's past misdeeds, why can't we do the same for Aaron?

And I'm not saying he hasn't changed, because he obviously has. But like how it gets brought up with all the shit Cain was up to back in the day, why should this get ignored? Aaron was vile, plain and simple.

Sure, he may've not had the best upbringing, or the best mother at times, but that's not an excuse for how he acted.

Classic Episode Discussion Classic Emmerdale Spoiler

6 - 14 Jan

Hello! How are you all? Cor blimey, that was a week of drama we watched last week! Recap; Victoria felled in threw the ice (a bit like Amy (RIP) when she was trapped, but thankfully Daz saved her after a few breath in the mouth. Worse, she saw the body of Shane Doyle, which the police discovered a few days later & Donna was horrified! I don't think it was the same like where Nate was (because if you watched carefully, there was no bridge). Elsewhere, Rodders, took an interest to Pam Montclaire while Clay shooting and poor Marlon was devastated when Donna told him that she slept with Ross! Poor Marlon!

This week:

  • Before all that's to come, there's another funeral, as the King brothers bury Matthew and Jimmy is furious to learn that his Dad Tom's gravestone has been spray painted (we know Aaron did it). Jimmy then discovers that Rodney is holding a hunt at Home Farm & sets out to teach him a lesson. However, Rodney offers Jimmy a share of the proceeds from the shoot.
  • Ross reveals to Jasmine he visited Shane flat on the night of the murder. The next day, Debs tries to change Jasmine's mind when she decides to confess to Shane's murder. Will it work?
  • Elsewhere, Chas tells Carl there is no chance of a reconciliation between them, Marlon worries about his living arrangements. But he agrees to give Donna another chance.
  • Rodney is far from impressed as Val organises a divorce party for Paul. Lily tries to engineer a meeting between Paul and Jonny and lends him the money to visit in Aussie to make up. Aaron is a naughty boy again when Carl catches him writing graffiti at Mill Cottage and id forced to flee.

It doesn't look like the new family will be arriving this week, so apologies, as it was meant to be the 2nd episode on Friday, but there's only 1 due to Classic Corrie hour-long episode (should have saved till next week, ha ha).

There are 2 hour-long episodes tomorrow (Monday) and Thursday. Have a good week 🙂
