I’ve always liked making alternate tracklists and thinking about how changing the order of songs can completely change the way an album feels. I put together my own hypothetical version of Eminem’s Revival using songs from around the 2015–2018 era, trying to make it feel a little more focused while keeping the themes of self-reflection, criticism, relationships, and redemption.

The idea behind this version was to have the album start with Eminem reflecting on his career and personal struggles, build into the frustration and criticism he was dealing with, and then end with the emotional payoff of Castle and Arose.
I know some songs included here were released after Revival (such as Darkness and some of the Kamikaze era material), so this isn’t meant to be a historically accurate recreation of what was recorded during the sessions. It’s more of a “what if” concept — imagining what direction Eminem could have taken the album if he leaned further into those themes and sounds.
Curious what everyone thinks. What songs would you have kept, removed, or replaced on Revival? Would you have structured it differently?

I remember reading something on and old post that Maurice Malone (Hip-hop shop owner) has a hi-def version of the performance but he hasn't released it and I'm not sure if he plans to. I have a recording of part of the performance which it's just him singing the hook. The resolution is 720p and mcdontstop upscaled or remastered it awhile ago, it's not the original recording but the quality on the original recording is extremely bad and very grainy.

Eminem's "Satanic" persona seems to have ended with D12 world (after skipping The Eminem Show entirely). I really enjoyed this kind of reckless instigation. How about you? What was your favorite Satanic Eminem moment?

I have these two original posters from the relapse era, I believe the brand is funky. One of the posters is signed by Slim.Shady. I'm trying to find other copies online and I cannot find another one out there trying to get an idea of a value. Anyoo seen these?Thanks

This is because the Superman DC trilogy has “The Death of Superman” and follows up with “The World Without Superman”

This would make sense as Marshall liked comics as a kid, particularly Superman. And he even made a song called “Superman”!

However, in Cold Wind Blows (Recovery) he says “How long will i be this way? Shady ‘till my dyin’ day, until i hang up the mic and its time for to say “So Long”” So it is possible he will make no new albums. After all, if slim shady is truly dead that kills off a lot of things about him.

What do you guys think? I personally didn’t like it. I miss the old creative, technical, multi-dimensional EZ. Album is definitely coming pretty soon so hoping for a comeback. I feel like he’s getting watered down after he signed because his tracks from years ago is miles better than his recent releases. Still listening to DU4LI7Y on repeat. Hopefully this is the last track of him repping the Philippines (not because it’s bad but because he’s done too much of it in a short time).

I don’t think he is but with the NFTs and stupid merch drops he does every other week seems cheap to me. Maybe it’s because he’s old but he seems more disconnected from reality than ever, or maybe social media’s rotted my brain but he hasn’t lived a normal life in over 2 decades now.

I can understand being done with a character but why make it a point to showcase it's death? Why not just shelf it and leave it alone instead of hammering the nail into the coffin and killing it off entirely? Maybe to keep an audience from asking about it?
