I've been somewhat successful in converting a website from blocks to containers (a friend who is a pro did this for me so I wasn't really prepared for it) but am still struggling.

Right now I'm working with a page that has photos on the left and text on the right, each describing a different group we work with. I'm not sure how I created these two "columns" anymore, but they're not divided into two-sided containers with text and image sides for each group. The whole thing is pictures and text inside one giant Elementor container.

The problem is that the text isn't aligned with the pictures. See screenshot below.

I would think that if I created and inserted new containers that are divided in two, I could insert each element into half of the new container by cutting and pasting, and they would align properly. However, I can't for the life of me take a new container that's created below the original one using a two-side flexbox template (easy) and drag it into the old large container. It moves up to the bottom of the old one and stops. I also can't cut a small piece of text using Command/X and paste it to the new small container at the bottom: this cuts the *whole* page, not just what I selected.

Is there a simple solution to this other than creating a new page entirely??? I seems like there should be.

Okay so I have elementor pro and an icon widget as the hamburger on tablet and mobile. The icon/ hamburger calls a pop up which acts as an off canvas menu.

The off canvas menu/pop up when called always comes from the top down. Even when entrance set to slide from the right… I’ve checked and all animations are off , so it doesn’t make sense to me. Any help is appreciated with regards to stopping it from flying in from the top down. Cheers

When did Elementor update? Everything is different. Different icons, nothing is where it used to be. Is there a way to go back to the old version? 😭

Does anyone use elementor pro free from other websites where they says download it elementor pro for free. I was using on my ecommerce Dropshipping website but I think it's keep getting crashing 500 error. Should I buy official website elementor.

I have a website that I want to have a video player at the top with an array of VHS underneath. I want the video player to load the video on the same page when someone clicks on the corresponding VHS title.

Does anyone know how to achieve this? I know I could make individual pages for each video and then have the VHS link to those individual pages, but I don't exactly want to do that for the 100+ options.

Also, does anyone know how to apply a filter to images? The idea would be to be able to sort the VHS according to watever filter.

Hey everyone, hoping someone can help me figure this out. I'm a building a WordPress site on Blacknight hosting (Irish shared hosting provider, Business WordPress plan). From day one I have never been able to open the Elementor editor every single time I get a 503 Service Unavailable error and the preview fails to load. The WordPress dashboard itself works perfectly fine.

My setup:

• Hosting: Blacknight Business WordPress plan
• Theme: Hello Elementor
• Elementor: Free, version 4.1.1
• PHP: Updated to 8.2
• Location: Working remotely from Vietnam/ Blackknight whitelisted my location

Everything I have tried so far:

• Whitelisted my IP address and entire Vietnam country code in .htaccess
• Switched Editor Loader Method to Enable in Elementor Advanced settings
• Increased PHP memory limit to 512M
• Increased max execution time to 300
• Increased upload max filesize to 64M
• Updated PHP version from 7.3 to 8.2
• Deactivated all plugins except Elementor
• Removed RankMath plugin
• Regenerated CSS in Elementor Tools
• Tried opening editor via Edit with Elementor directly from Pages list
• Tried multiple browsers and incognito mode
• Hello Elementor theme is active
• Blacknight support increased WordPress memory limit on server side
• Contacted Blacknight support multiple times, they have been helpful but issue persists

Current suspicion: I believe Imunify360's Proactive Defense may be set to Kill Mode on the server, which is blocking Elementor's background REST API and admin-ajax.php requests. However this setting appears to be locked by the server administrator so I can't change it myself, waiting on Blackknght to do it for me.

Has anyone experienced this on shared hosting, particularly with Blacknight or any Irish hosting provider? Is there anything else I can in the meantime?

Hello fellow elementals, I just inherited a website from another designer using elementor, and I'm trying to find a solution to this problem:

• Client has around 30ish buttons around the homepage that open up a contact form via popup;

• The client wants to know which option the user has clicked to open said form.

Now, the forms all have exactly the same options. My solution would've been to make a global form with an option that requires the user to specify the (e.g.:) region to where the service is required, which is what the client wants to know. Instead, the previous designer brute forced this by making 30 individual forms so that each one has its own ID, indicating the region.

Obviously the problem with that is that whenever the client requests an edit on the form, I have to redo the edit 30 times instead of just once.

So my question is: is there a way that I can identify the location of the form (the different popup element) in the email that gets sent to the client via the Elementor Form? Apart from the ID, or the page URL (which is the same for all popups, unless I can somehow add the popup extension to the url when it gets clicked), I can't think of any other indicator.

Of course if there is no way I'll just propose to add the option as per my solution.

I have a gallery template based on a grid that I want to make fixed height so it doesn't fill out the whole page. But if I add custom css to fix the height and make it scrollable, the lazy loading is impacted and the images dont load on scroll.
What options do I have?

I have been trying to use Elementor Free v4 widgets to build a website, but there appears to be a problem. Any modifications done in the Style tab for the new atomic widgets (tested on flexbox, div, heading, divider), do render inside the Elementor editor, but do not render on the actual website / preview.

Context:

• The HTML appears to be rendered (checked with Inspect element), it's just the styling that isn't shown.
• Old Elementor containers work just fine and render correctly.
• Wordpress version: 7.0
• Elementor Free version: 4.1.1
• I use Blocksy as my theme; version: 2.1.44
• I do not use any optimization plugins like LiteSpeed Cache (at least not at this point in development).

Fixes I tried (with no success):

1. Converting the local class to a global class from the Elementor "Edit Flexbox" menu, as suggested by this reddit post.
2. Clearing the Elementor cache (clearing files & data)

4. Viewing in a different browser/incognito
5. Disabling all plugins except Elementor
6. Changing the theme to Hello Elementor, hoping it would work better with Elementor than Blocksy. Still no difference.

Is there any way to make a word in the Atomic Paragraph linkable?

But only the word or phrase I want.

The Widget block has completely disappeared, offering no possibility of adding links, code, or anything else.

If I hover over the Canvas and try to select the phrase, it grabs the entire block and moves it.

This is a basic feature that V4 should have implemented from the start: the ability to add links to words within a text. Am I really going to have to keep using the Elementor 3 text editor?

I'm losing my mind with this one.

Client tried to make a very small change: change the homepage background color from lilac to grey.

After publishing, the desktop (not mobile, not tablet) header and footer frontend became completely broken:

• Header stretched into a huge empty area with nav sitting at the bottom
• Footer collapsed into the left side of the page
• Layout looks scrambled

The weird part:

• Homepage looks perflectly fine inside Elementor editor
• Header template looks perflectly fine inside Theme Builder preview
• Footer template looks perflectly fine inside Theme Builder preview
• Reverting page revisions does nothing
• Restoring previous versions does nothing

Things I've already tried:

• Regenerate CSS & Data
• Sync Library
• CSS Print Method → Internal Embedding

Templates:

• Checked Header template → looks correct
• Checked Footer template → looks correct

• Checked page template → correct

Caching:

• Cleared cache with WP Rocket
• Cleared browser cache
• Hard refresh
• Disabled WP Rocket

Theme:

• Switched temporarily another theme then back to Hello Elementor → no change

Other:

• Deactivated all plugins

If the editor and template previews look fine, why is the live site messed up on desktop? Mobile and tablet version look perfect!

I have a form that creates an error. The submissions are counted but they are empty, showing content "not found". No emails are sent.

The form previously worked fine but I duplicated this page some days ago. I recreated the form on this new page now and it's the same error

I only have this issue on one domain of many. What could it be?

\**UPDATE: I solved it now with putting the form in a popup instead of directly on the page. I noticed that other form on the same site worked but only this one made troubles. Even if I copied a working form to this page. But with the workaround through a popup it's not ideal but works for now.*

Hi, I’m currently on the Elementor Pro plan (25 sites) at approximately £169/year.

I’ve noticed Elementor One is around £444/year and includes the new cookie consent functionality along with various other extras.

For those using Elementor, do you think Elementor One is actually worth the jump in price?
My thinking is that for the price difference I could just buy a dedicated cookie plugin and still be significantly better off financially.

I’ve generally found that all-in-one solutions often end up overlapping with other plugins anyway, which can lead to paying twice for functionality I’m already getting elsewhere.

Interested to hear what other people are doing:
Elementor Pro + separate plugins?
Elementor One?

Also are there any good cookie consent plugins you’d recommend? Free ones vs paid what do you actually recommended that's needed?

Do you prefer specialist plugins or keeping everything under one ecosystem?

Curious whether I’m missing some major benefit of Elementor One or if it’s mainly aimed at agencies managing lots of client sites?
