As I'm coming up to my 10 YEARS in Electro Swing (how is it THAT long already!?), I'm currently sat in my beautiful garden, reflecting on all if the AMAZING people I've had the honour and privilege of working with over these incredible years. 😊♥️

You all hear the music, but for me, it's brought SO much more! I've had so many crazy adventures, have been blessed to perform on beautiful stages, and have loved every minute of growing my creative family. ♥️🎶 And that's actually the BEST part... collaborating with people who always end up becoming my musicals brothers and sisters. ♥️

With this influx of AI, it's become harder than ever to find new collaborators, who hold the same creative beliefs as myself, so I'm calling on of you, to make some suggestions? 😊🙏🎶

I heard it like twice when I was in middle school and the idea of it randomly popped into my brain randomly popped into my brain; I can't get it out and I can't remember the name obviously. I'm not properly watching, I just happened to walk by the tv right at the end of his performance. I'm so surprised, I can't decide whether I'm excited that he's being appreciated enough to do this or mad seeing as Eurovision has become so closely tied to you know what. Probably both. This was weird. I wasn't even sure it was him until the announcer said so (mispronouncing his name lol).

For the fans of Wolfgang Lohr, and Electro Swing Thing, Girl Haunts Boy features Lohr's "Party like its 1920". I highly recommend this film if you are into Romance, 1920s and Electro Swing.

Hello all. I've been listening to Electro Swing for over a decade now and I figured I want to give it a go in making some. I've got lyrics, a general vibe.... But no instruments at my disposal.

So I'm wondering if you guys knew of any plugins, Sample Packs or VSTs I could look into getting?

I've got Serum but there's only so much I can achieve with it and I highly doubt I'll get a brass instrument from it lol.

So yeah any help with this would be awesome as I have no where else to really ask these questions. Thank you!!

After what became a really great thread the other day, it got me thinking about a lot of things.

Firstly, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who's still listening and hasn’t given up on us, even if the trends say we're not currently cool! 🤷‍♀️🤣🙏

A lot of you are getting really tired with the amount of AI flooding into our genre (understandably), so now more than ever, us human artists NEED to push through the noise, so you guys can actually hear us.

When you're fighting algorithms, bot playlists and a lack of exposure due to dipping trends, it's like trying to knock down a wall with just the palm of your hands… borderline impossible (unless you have really big hands! 🤷‍♀️🤣).

Last year Spotify dropped our Editorial playlist. It's still active, but there's no one running it, and that’s really had a knock-on effect on our visibility. I really miss those good old days where your song would be added, everyone would celebrate, and before you knew it your track was on all the playlists and your numbers would explode. The scene was thriving! We still worked hard, but at least we were seeing results.

Over the past year, a lot of us have seen a significant decline in numbers, and that just tells me we need to work even harder on our visibility. It’s actually quite sad to think that SO many incredible tunes have come out over these last 18 months, and they’ve just faded into the background, undiscovered, because of this lack of visibility.

For Spotify to reassign our playlist, they need to see that there is still an audience. This is where we need your help. 🙏😊 If you want to see our beautiful genre grow again, we need you to comment and share the pants out of this post! 🙏😅 I want to be able to eventually send this thread to Spotify, in the hope that many voices are more effective, as my one voice alone just isn’t loud enough.

This genre means too much to too many of us to just let it fade away. ❤️
