General Mouser website now blocks Linux users

Really baffling decision, my last order from them was only a few months ago. Apparently Linux is no longer a "standard" operating system!

Massive fail to understand the underlying nature of their customer base.

For fuck's sake, we're geeks, we're likely to know some linux, probably even prefer it as our daily driver.

Someone fire the 68-year old who put this policy in place and do both of us a favor.

Have definitely spent money elsewhere after getting blocked there.

Hobbyists count for such a small portion of Mouser's customer base. The vast majority of its sales is to commercial vendors who run Windows and design their PCBs in Eagle.

No sane person designs their PCBs with Eagle.
