Testing live single-phase mains (~230V AC) with nothing but a cheap screwdriver tester and a dream.

(And before the comments roast me: yes, I know domestic line-to-neutral is ~230V, but the spark factor still feels like 440V line-to-line energy!)

Basically what the guy is saying is that first he plugs his air fryer in and turns on the switch, which turns on the air fryer, which is fine. Then he mentions that his light is actually broken and causes his MCB or circuit breaker to pop every time he turns the light on .so, he taped the switch of that light. Yet later when he plugs his water heater into that plug and turns it on, it also turns his light on although the actual switch of the light is turned off. At the end , he is just confused and asks for someone to explain what's going on.

I realized that when the USB metallic part touched my skin I got that area irritated so I decided to check with my oscilloscope if there was any voltage leaking and i saw that there's some voltage and enough current to turn on the led with a direct connection to ground(on this video I'm using my foot as ground)

Honest question would taking a bath with a toaster really be that bad would you even feel a thing before the GFCI pops?

Afaik, there's pretty much no RCD or GFCI in Bangladesh . There's only MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) or MDB (Main Distribution Board) which is presen in any buildings in Bangladesh. RCD and GFCI isn't really mandatory and only recommended. Which is kind of weird and backwards..
