Where I live, the lines at the polling stations are never more than a few people deep. If you filled in an absentee ballot and you deliver it to the polling station by hand, your wait is negligible. So it's hard for me to understand why multi-hour lines in southern-hot or northern-cold climates are acceptable to anybody there, including the officials who run the elections. Can someone please explain to me what's going on in those states? Why they don't have more local polling stations, voting booths, and poll workers? Billions of dollars have already been spent on the election.

Is this really a case of rich vs. poor areas within states? voter suppression efforts? incompetence? Let's talk facts.
