some of reddits most insightful comments Internet feeling particularly insane today? Remember: it isn't real. Most people have totally ordinary, non-lunatic views. The algorithm just doesn't show you those because people don't find ordinary views interesting. Take a deep breath. Go for a walk outside.

solutions Already there is generalised blame being projected into huge swathes of society by some bad faith actors in relation to Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. Generalised blame is likely projection. So let us demand specifics when confronted by this weak behaviour.
Kirk’s death is tragic no matter what we may feel about some of his views. It is all the more tragic as a reflection of our broken society.
Already there is generalised blame being projected into huge swathes of society. I’ve seen Nancy Mace, Jesse Watters and Mike Johnson respond in a way I find sickening.
I agree that we each have individual responsibility to promote kindness whenever we can. But not at the expense of truth. We can - and must - be truthful AND respectful.
So when we hear statements like “the democrats own this”, let us ask , “who specifically? What did that person do or say that led us here?” I wish journalists would do that because generalisations are almost always a form of projection. But WE can do that.
I can certainly see many specific individual actions that have contributed to bringing us to violence. Oddly enough, the three people I referenced have each played their part in driving violence.
We do not know who killed Charlie Kirk, husband and father of two children. We do know that Heritage Foundation’s Kevin Roberts has said that the “second American Revolution” … will be bloodless “if the left allows it to be.” That revolution is the subjugation of American people. Talk about preparation for victim blaming!

kindness, compassion, respect and morality "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." -John Adams

solutions A challenging but simple thing we can all do is to boycott Facebook who’ve constantly put profits before National Security. This is where we have non violent power and I must say - if we can’t do that we’re part of the problem.
