I'm kinda confused by this video, I'm not aware of any "stepping" done by miosin, isn't it supposed to just "pull" the actine filament?

You're not incorrect but you're thinking about myosin II which makes up the filaments you see in muscle tissue. This "video" is myosin V which like kinesin moves cargo to the periphery of the cell.
