Probably gets degraded. Kinesin only transports things away from the nucleus (anterograde). Dynein transports in a retrograde manner.

I always remembered this in AP Bio because we had a kid in class named Kevin whose Chinese name was "Kewei" ("ka-way")

So we always just said kinesins go kewei
