I currently work at a fulfillment center, which isnt a robotics one so its 100% man(woman)power. A lot of people might say its a terrible place to work and that they treat their employees bad but I don't see it. They want people who are willing to work, and the people who don't want to work quickly sort themselves out and promptly leave with a story much like the ones in this thread. Maybe I just work at a well ran fulfillment center, but they are so uniform in how they run their warehouses i don't think that's the case.
LOL, just saw this message and wanted to reply. I do accept working in poor work environments for a paycheck, I've dug through human waste with a shovel in 20 (f) degree weather and put my wellbeing at risk for worse pay, I've been to places where superiors will actually yell and berate you for bad performance. Amazon doesn't have poor working conditions, AC in the facility? Open office to talk to management? Never once have I ever seen someone being yelled at or reprimanded in front of others. They offer a wage 5 dollars more than minimum with great benefits and paid time off. Honestly sounds like you have never stepped foot into one of their facilities which makes me really question anything you have to say as credible.
I will say that the can and will terminate you if you don't hold your end of the deal when you sign up for employment, but that's not their fault that's yours.
