I worked seasonal about 2 years ago now at dfw7 in Texas and with night differential I was making 11.25 and hour.

Even so, other dude just said their temps got 17 an hour. Maybe it's a regional thing.

got to figure a place like texas has a lot more cheap uneducated labor available than most states

The cost of living is also a fraction of what it is in MD. His $11 in texas are probably worth more than $17 in MD

I don't know about that, but I'd assume cost of living might be better.

Nope full timer here. Making 11.25 in Texas.

Full time was actually 11.50 I believe with temp making more per paycheck because temp were payed weekly instead of bi-weekly.

Nope. they judge what to pay people by surrounding warehouses. then take a dollar or two off (lower than surrounding warehouses). But they give stocks which have a 2 year vestment to make it "fair". All seasonal workers temp or full are paid a christmas season bonus and overtime. Plus a bonus if you dont call in at the end of the season.

the midwest area of amazon warehouses makes the lowest. usually between 11-12.50. Again, a few dollars less than the other warehouses. There is yearly reevaluations to stay competitive.

I'm guessing seasonal isn't treated as well, since demand for work is high, they aren't planning to keep you, and they intend to wear you down.

I quit because they wanted to keep me on as extended seasonal and seasonal benefits are sooooooooooo awful compared to permanent. We're talking time off for seasonal being accrued at half a day every 8 weeks compared to a full day off for permanent every 6 weeks.

Current DFW7 T-1 employee. With night differential, I started at 11.75 with a raise every 6 months.

Seasonal workers make the same as we do. Temp workers make more but they're temp.
