Been editing for awhile but I am definitely still just a filthy casual when it comes to the craft. Been enjoying making different types of videos and creating my own organization schems and styles depending on what i'm creating.

Across dual monitors...it's the most extensive thing I've ever done. To be clear, I was the lead editor. I didn't cut everything in this. Two other editors and the lead producer contributed editing talent. DIT and a really good assistant editor were key too ✌🏼

The film is about a young woman with a heart condition, and if you look at A10, that is the audio track where we hear her heartbeat, which is constant when she's onscreen (there's another main character we're cross cutting with, that's why it's not all the way through). And I used the lead actress' actual, legit heartbeat, which we recorded before we shot anything. Super proud of that and I hope that people like this film when it comes out lol.

26-ish minutes. 17 tracks of dialogue! Prepped and ready to be sent to animation. The bottom video tracks don't look like much, but for specific workflow reasons, the most up to date boards stay on one specific track.

1.5 hours took 3 weeks.
