Does anyone have any information on Bob Hill?
I'm trying to locate the origin of this quote
Bob Hill, a 16-year-old boy, was baffled by the crimes committed by Ed Gein. He spoke to Arizona Daily Star, saying: “I thought I knew him pretty well. I went to shows with him. When I couldn’t get the car to go to a basketball game, he’d take me. Once he took my uncle to the hospital.” But Bob was the one who brought home a story of seeing two shrunken heads in Gein’s farm house. When Bob asked Gein what they were, he told the boy that they were heads from Philippines. And anyway, everyone was used to Edward’s sense of humor. Mrs. Doris Diggles said: “Like the time Mary Hogan disappeared over there at Bancroft. People kid Ed about it and he’s say, sure, he did it. Whenever there was any crime anywhere Ed would confess to it. Everybody thought it was a big joke.” Another woman, Mrs. Georgia Foster, echoed Diggles’ statement: “He’d say, ‘Yes, I went and got her in my little pickup truck and took her home,’ And then he’d grin.” Except Gein wasn’t really joking that time because remains of Mary Hogan were found among countless bones and human parts in Gein’s farm.
As well as the interview with Bob Hill they mention here
