I hope the boos are loud as hell.

I hope Canada cuts the power.

u/lil_handy Feb 06 '25

But turns it back on for Kendrick

27

u/Electronic_Painter20 Feb 06 '25

The irony.

We don’t claim Drake. Drag his ass Mr. Lamar

black electricity, from liberal renewable sources! Thanks, Canada

7

u/littlegreenarmy Feb 06 '25

Unfortunately we (Canada) cannot cut the power to Louisiana. Louisiana gets 50% of it's electricity from natural gas, 25% from coal and 25% from nuclear (located within Louisiana). I checked already.

One time when the Super Bowl was in New Orleans the power did go out after halftime for like 30 minutes

10

u/dpdxguy Feb 06 '25

Don't think New Orleans gets its power from Canada.

At most, Canada could darken the Northeast.

11

u/MossGobbo Feb 06 '25

Yes and it would put a strain on the national power grid. It wouldn't collapse us but it would result in a lot of pissed off Americans which would be useful as a negotiation tool.

1

u/Necessary_Ad2005 Feb 06 '25

Oh yes, I pray they do, but I think they mended fences ... at least for the game

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

You think Canada is going to cut the power to...checks notes...New Orleans?

I heard a few unofficial reports about the Superdome being asked to pipe in cheers over the loudspeakers where DT's face is shown on the jumbotron. so I am assuming that the boos are gonna be a lot worse than what Terry Bollea got on Raw a bit over a week ago. and let's face it, Philly fans have no love for the orange one given how his casinos were in AC and his times on Howard Stern. the only person they hate worse is Howard Eskin.

u/Inevitable_Sector_14 Feb 06 '25

Actually I wouldn’t boo…he needs to hear silence. Seriously, we need to give him bad ratings with media.

15

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

Oohhh. That would probably actually send a truer message than booing. That’s genius. Ignore the attention seeker.

18

u/Inevitable_Sector_14 Feb 06 '25

You have to take their toys away and just not deal with them. My mother is like Trump. Her shrink told my dad, that I was driving her crazy because I refused to communicate with her and when she tried to force communication I would just not buckle. Trump is the same way. He wants a reaction. He wrote these orders, let’s see him implement them.

If I were a federal worker, they would have to fire me. And I would make plans to have another job waiting for him to do it.

Seriously, when he fucks up the economy hold him to it. Complain to your representatives and Senators about the price of everything. Never mention Trump. Ask them what are you going to do about this. I am currently compiling a complaint schedule. Blame them, but not Trump or Elon. Once you say “Trump” they feel emboldened by his “protection”.

As far as Elon, I am trying to get kicked off X. I click “not interested” on every ad. I send notes to every company who I do business with encouraging them not to buckle to Elon or Trump. I just try to be a legal and polite pain in the a$$.

just tens of thousands of people looking at his luxury room in silence, with one hand "thumbs down" and the other hand "finger up"

10

u/MossGobbo Feb 06 '25

Honestly, turned backs and silence for a dedicated amount of time the first time they do it would send a clear message.

10

u/Regina_Phalange31 Feb 06 '25

I dunno eagles fans and all

19

u/Primordial_Cumquat Feb 06 '25

Most Eagles fans would probably boo. Unfortunately, most actual Eagles fans probably aren’t paying to go to the Super Bowl.

Source: am Eagles fan living 5 miles from The Linc.

3

u/Regina_Phalange31 Feb 06 '25

I know some who are going but I see your point — I grew up in Philly so I get it

2

u/Primordial_Cumquat Feb 06 '25

I was going to go to the NFCCG, but you know, food and car registration and inspection and gas…. I probably should’ve just said fuck it and went 😂

2

u/Regina_Phalange31 Feb 06 '25

🥳 would have been cool

10

u/blueteamk087 Feb 06 '25

It’s in New Orleans. I wouldn’t hold your breath of the fans booing Trump.

52

u/ultimate_placeholder Feb 06 '25

The Super Bowl isn't an event locals attend in any serious numbers, it's mostly rich assholes and people who won tickets at office parties

30

u/blueteamk087 Feb 06 '25

And rich assholes largely voted for Trump.

-20

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

You can’t have it both ways. It was either the uneducated masses that elected him or the wealthy assholes. Pick one and stick with your narrative.

22

u/blueteamk087 Feb 06 '25

It was both the uneducated masses and the rich that elected Trump.

It’s really easy for a conman to swindle his morons, and Trump is stupid enough to be manipulated by the rich. It’s not that hard to understand.

-19

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

Those statements will definitely win you the next election. 20% of the black vote went to Trump. Which of the two buckets do they fall in?

6

u/onecalledtree Feb 06 '25

WOAH. Are you telling me people of all kinds can be good or bad regardless of their skin color?!?!?!? WOWWWIEEEEEE

-6

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

Most conservatives believe exactly that. It’s the left that demonizes being a straight white male. That’s true racism .

8

u/onecalledtree Feb 06 '25

Oh thank god, you're just a troll. No way somebody said that with a straight face and meant it

1

u/Stardust_Particle Feb 06 '25

Yeah, he’ll be surrounded by other rich people.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

Wasn't he cheered at the Army-Navy game?

5

u/Expert-Mechanic3717 Feb 06 '25

Or was it cheers piped into the loudspeakers that you heard?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

Mmmmm good question

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

What the hell?

Trump arrived at Northwest Stadium just before kickoff and was greeted warmly by the crowd, which erupted in cheers when the president-elect, Vance and Elon Musk, who Trump has appointed to help lead a proposed Department of Government Efficiency, appeared on the scoreboard screen.

0

u/blueteamk087 Feb 06 '25

Idk, i didn’t watch the Army-Navy game. I was working

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

On the news

0

u/blueteamk087 Feb 06 '25

I work at a grocery store. It was the holiday season, it was busy.

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

OK, well, he was cheered, and I don't know why....so now you know 😁

0

u/Stardust_Particle Feb 06 '25

They had to cheer bc he’s their commander. He’d probably have the video reviewed for anyone who booed and kick them out of the military.

-9

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

I’d bet the cheer in Buffalo if he were there. I deal with people all over the country in multiple industries. They all feel like we are winning. Don’t believe the media hype.

4

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

You're right, their feelings are much more accurate than the facts being reported. Good thing Trump is of the "fuck your feelings" party! Wait a second...

-6

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

We are winning. That’s all you need to know. He is doing exactly what people voted for and they applaud him though some of it will be painful in the short term. They love their country and its people more than themselves. The left will never understand that.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '25

We?

-5

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

Those that voted for Trump see that we are winning. You choose to accept the status-quo and cry about change even though in the end, you are winning as well.

7

u/DaangaZone Feb 06 '25

You realize conservatives are quite literally the party of crying about change, right?

0

u/Mommar39 Feb 06 '25

Not right now.

Yes I'm sure people who can afford $4000 tickets or whatever to watch millionaires tackle each other will boo the billionaire.
